PRAYER…TALKING TO GOD

Talking to God is called PRAYER. There are many kinds of prayer but just the act of having a conversation with God is prayer.

GOD CAN NOT ANSWER A PRAYER THAT HAS NOT BEEN PRAYED. Someone in your family MUST BE PRAYING TO GOD FOR HELP. People normally do not get help from God unless SOMEONE PRAYS AND ASKS FOR IT. God does not react to pain, suffering and injustice unless SOMEONE PRAYS AND ASKS GOD TO HELP. God is waiting for you to ask and believe so He can answer and give you what you need. YOUR PRAYERS GIVE GOD PERMISSION TO INTERRUPT YOUR FREE WILL AND HELP YOU OUT OF YOUR DESTRUCTIVE CIRCUMSTANCES. It is God’s will that ALL HIS CHILDREN be blessed happy and healthy.

When you ask God for help, be wiling to lay down YOUR WILL and be willing to DO THINGS GODS WAY. You obviously do not know how to solve your problems also when you ask God to help you then be willing to follow HIS INSTRUCTIONS.

God is on your side. You CAN NOT FAIL if you keep depending on, relying on and expecting help and an answer from God. HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU OR FORSAKE YOU, if you keep turning to Him for answers.

Even unbelievers can give a definition of prayer. But as a Christian, prayer is just a conversation with our Father God in Heaven. After our salvation, this is the greatest privilege and gift God could possibly give us.

God says as HIS CHILDREN we are able to talk to God and we can hear God talking to us. Having a conversation with God is vital to your survival in these last days. God is our Father. He always has time for us. He wants us to talk to Him about anything and everything that concerns us. He wants us to come before Him everyday just to visit and tell Him how much we love Him.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, “Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

To keep on asking does not mean we continue to ask and beg AS IF God did not hear and say yes the first time. It just means ask then continuously talk to God praising Him and thanking Him for His deliverance and help.

2 Timothy 1:3, “I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

That does not mean you are to constantly be in a humbled reverent kneeling posture at all times. It is an awareness that God is with you everywhere you go. He is available for you to receive counsel, advice, wisdom, direction, and insight, at any time. Once you become a child of God, you are possessed by the Spirit of God and are filled with His voice, truth and character. You just have to yield yourself to Him and acknowledge His 24/7 presence.

God Almighty is the most powerful, amazing, loving presence and Father we could possibly experience and encounter.

God has the ability to answer any prayer request. Nothing is impossible. He is the wealthiest, wisest most powerful of any living or non living. He is also the most generous. He says ALL HIS PROMISES ARE YES TO THOSE WHO ASK AND BELIEVE.

2 Corinthians 1:19-21, “…..He isn’t one to say yes when he means no. He always does exactly what he says. He carries out and fulfills all of God’s promises, no matter how many of them there are; and we have told everyone how faithful he is, giving glory to his name.It is this God who has made you and me into faithful Christians and commissioned us apostles to preach the Good News.

God just needs us to ask and believe. Thats OUR RESPONSIBILITY. And He does not need us to keep on asking the same prayer over and over again. He hears and remembers the first time. But it is up to God to determine the right time for it to happen.

Matthew 6:6-8 Living Bible, “But when you pray, go away by yourself, all alone, and shut the door behind you and pray to your Father secretly, and your Father, who knows your secrets, will reward you. “Don’t recite the same prayer over and over as the heathen do, who think prayers are answered only by repeating them again and again. Remember, your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

Think of someone that you think is absolutely amazing and you would love to have a face to face conversation with. Do you think it would ever happen? God is a million times better than that person and He is available to you right now.

God Almighty, the Creator of this universe is your family. He is your friend. He is you Father. He wants to spend time with you. He’s excited to talk to you everyday. Your love for Him pleases Him so much. He is always ready and waiting to have a conversation with you.

Having this privilege to have a conversation with God face to face on a daily basis, will absolutely change your life. It keeps you blessed, it protects you from the attacks of Satan, it causes you to be filled with peace, love and joy. It heals your body and your mind. When talking to God everyday, God will warn you of things to come so you can avoid bad situations and take advantage of good situations.

Many people even Christians do not believe that God speaks to us anymore. They think He’s far far away and not concerned with our everyday lives. But that is entirely false. God totally enjoys the time you give Him and looks forward to that one on one interaction.

God DOES NOT speak in thundering audible voices from Heaven, but HE DOES SPEAK to ALL OF HIS CHILDREN in our inner spirit. Once you receive Jesus as your Savior, the Holy Spirit of God comes to live inside your body. He never leaves you after that. He is always there waiting for you to acknowledge Him and involve Him in every aspect of your day. If you are not recognizing or hearing God’s voice you are either not His child, or have not taken the time to recognize His voice and acknowledge His presence.

John 10:25-29 Living Bible, “I have already told you, and you don’t believe me,” Jesus replied. “The proof is in the miracles I do in the name of my Father. ²⁶But you don’t believe me because you are not part of my flock. My sheep recognize my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they shall never perish. No one shall snatch them away from me, ²⁹for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else, so no one can kidnap them from me.

Everyone of us as we go through life needs to have counsel and instructions to help us make good decisions that will lead to our success and prosperity. God created man. He created us with natural instincts and intuition, but He also created us to need Him as a vital part of who we are as a human being. We were created to NEED GOD as much as we need water, food and air. Without Him, we are going through life blind with a void that we are constantly trying to fill with other things. Then we die and go to Hell. A life without God Almighty is a wasted life.

God is an invisible God and He speaks to us in our spirits in an inaudible voice. It is a private conversation just between the two of you. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE THINKING. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON INSIDE OF YOU EXCEPT YOU AND GOD. God hears ALL YOUR THOUGHTS and even hears the deep things down in your heart and subconscience. You can talk to God at anytime. Just set your thoughts to Him and talk to Him silently. It is just as powerful and effective as an audible prayer.

When talking to God, He tells you WHAT’S BEST FOR YOU. Many times when you get advise from people, they say “if I were you” “I think you should…”. They are not necessarily advising you to do whats best for you. They don’t know the perfect plan God has JUST FOR YOU and the path GOD WANTS you to take to get there. Therefore, YOU NEED to spend time with God YOURSELF to get HIS DAILY ACTION PLAN that was designed just for you.

When facing any situation it is such an awesome privilege to be able to refer to the God of the universe to advice you and tell you the best decisions to make. We have all the wisdom of God and the ability to see into the future if necessary to help us be victorious in everything we do. Just take the time to inquire with our Father God and He is always ready and willing to help. God wants to be involved in every aspect of your life. Nothing is too big or too small.

God wants us to come before Him in prayer to seek His presence and help for others as well. All of your prayers should not just be about what YOU want or what YOU need.

I pray for people all the time especially my family, but when I pray I ask God what does HE HAVE FOR THEM. I ask Him to reveal HIS PLAN and HIS WILL more clear. I ask God to help them be the best man or woman that HE WANTS THEM TO BE.

James 5:16, “Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man has great power and wonderful results.

God has actually “called me” and “gifted me”, like He has many other people, to pray for others. He has given me a gift of intercessory prayer. It is one of the gifts of the spirit. God will put someone on my mind and my heart and I know they are going through something that they need God’s help with. So I pray for them. Sometimes I’m not sure what to pray for so I just speak in tongues concerning their situation until I feel at peace about them.

Romans 8:26-27, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

God NEEDS PEOPLE TO PRAY. He says “we have not because we ask not.“

James 4:2-3, “You long for what others have, and can’t afford it, so you start a fight to take it away from them. And yet the reason you don’t have what you want is that you don’t ask God for it. ³And even when you do ask you don’t get it because your whole aim is wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.

God does not barge into our lives. He has given every human being lost and saved a free will that God honors. We can choose God and the right path or not. We can seek God or not. We can ask God for help or not. God is a gentleman that will not interfere in your life unless He is asked to. God honors YOUR FREE WILL OVER WHAT HE DESIRES FOR YOU. What I mean by that is, God wants everyone blessed and healthy and He knows how to get you there. But if you choose to follow your own ideas or the advise of others instead of God HE WILL ALLOW IT.

The problem is people go through issues in life many times that ONLY GOD can fix for them. If you don’t pray and ask Him for help, you fall short of the best that He has for you or you walk away from situations defeated.

When Jesus was on Earth, He healed 1000’s of people. He prayed to the Father many times out loud so people could hear Him acknowledge the Father presence in the situation. Jesus knew peoples thoughts and He knew what people needed even before they asked. But He always ask people , what would you like for me to do for you? He already knew, but He needed them to ask and believe before they could receive. Jesus is the same today as He has always been. He expects us to acknowledge Him, then ask and believe BEFORE we can receive our help and deliverance.

God has a great plan for each one of His children. He has a specific journey and path HE WANTS YOU TO TAKE to fulfill that plan. God has a specific purpose for you to be born in this day and time. NO ONE KNOWS THAT PURPOSE AND PLAN BETTER THAN GOD. You have to spend time with Him, talking to Him and allowing Him to talk to you, so He can share all that with you and direct your path in life. The closer walk you have with God, the more you rely on Him, the better your life will be.

Once you are born again, it is your responsibility to spend as much time with our Father, talking to Him and listening to His instructions and counsel as you possibly can.

When we have a conversation with God today in 2022, it is the same as it was when Jesus was here in the flesh. The only difference is Jesus is invisible. We can not see Him, touch Him or hear Him with our natural eyes and ears. But He is the same and just as real and present as He was, when He was here on earth.

When Jesus was on Earth, He said when He left, He was going to send One to take His place. He was sending the invisible person of the Holy Spirit of God.

John 14:16-27 (Amp), “If you love me, obey me; and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Comforter, and he will never leave you. ¹⁷He is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, for it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you do, for he lives with you now and some day shall be in you. ¹⁸No, I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm—I will come to you. ¹⁹In just a little while I will be gone from the world, but I will still be present with you. For I will live again—and you will too. ²⁰When I come back to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. ²¹The one who obeys me is the one who loves me; and because he loves me, my Father will love him; and I will too, and I will reveal myself to him.” Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but his other disciple with that name) said to him, “Sir, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us disciples and not to the world at large?” Jesus replied, “Because I will only reveal myself to those who love me and obey me. The Father will love them too, and we will come to them and live with them. ²⁴Anyone who doesn’t obey me doesn’t love me. And remember, I am not making up this answer to your question! It is the answer given by the Father who sent me. “I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. ²⁶But when the Father sends the Comforter^[a] instead of me*—and by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit—he will teach you much, as well as remind you of everything I myself have told you. “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

John 17:20-23, “I am not praying for these alone but also for the future believers who will come to me because of the testimony of these. ²¹My prayer for all of them is that they will be of one heart and mind, just as you and I are, Father—that just as you are in me and I am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me—the glorious unity of being one, as we are I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one—so that the world will know you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me.

When we get born again, the invisible Holy Spirit OF GOD comes to live inside of us. That Spirit of God possesses us and begins to change our thoughts words actions to be more like God. God taking residency inside our bodies gives us a desire and a ambition to get to know Him. We were made in the image of God. This is God’s desire for all of His children to grow and mature to be like Him. We grow to become one with God.

1 Corinthians 6:17, “But if you give yourself to the Lord, you and Christ are joined together as one person.

Having God living inside of us and possessing us, is what gives us the ability to be in communication with God at any time. He lives within us and is part of who we are.

We can share God’s emotion, His passion and love for people. God shares His wisdom with us so we can have an intelligent educated conversation. The Holy Spirit of God is joined to our soul (mind will and emotions) so we are capable of having the mindset of God and able to represent Him in every way.

We must take example from Jesus for our own lives. Jesus told His disciples that He and God were ONE. Because Jesus was disciplined to surrender Himself 100%, body soul and spirit, over to the possession of God.

John 14:7-11, “If you had known who I am, then you would have known who my Father is. From now on you know him—and have seen him! Philip said, “Sir, show us the Father and we will be satisfied.” Jesus replied, “Don’t you even yet know who I am, Philip, even after all this time I have been with you? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking to see him? ¹⁰Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I say are not my own but are from my Father who lives in me. And he does his work through me. ¹¹Just believe it—that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or else believe it because of the mighty miracles you have seen me do.

It was hard for the disciples to understand what Jesus was telling them about God. God is an invisible spirit that lives within every born again Christian. GOD IN US, MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO TALK TO GOD AT ANY TIME AND HIM TALK TO US. But that seemed too much for them to understand. So Jesus said, can you at least understand that if God Almighty was not IN ME and UPON ME I would not be able to do these miracles. GOD IS WITH US when we get born again. He walks talks and does life with us.

Knowing you have a supernatural Father with limitless ability and love for you, gives you a confidence and a security that is unexplainable. That confidence in God is what helps us to be bold to come before Him and talk with Him.

Hebrews 4:16 AMP, “Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].

Since we are the temple of God, that throne of God’s grace is already in us. God is doing life with us so He already knows what we need and when we need it. We just have to acknowledge it and ask what we want and need in prayer first.

God is our Superhero. But He is also a very real and caring compassionate Father and deserves our admiration, honor and respect. Also knowing God Himself is with you at all times help you to be more passionate about your walk with Him. It helps you to be more aware to discipline your actions, thoughts, attitude and behavior. God will not MAKE YOU be good, but knowing He’s right there beside you watching and listening to you helps YOU CHOOSE to be better.

EVERY CHILD OF GOD CAN BEGIN TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD AND HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH HIM, after your born again experience. It is our responsibility to get familiar with the voice of God. The more frequent ly we have conversations and talks with God the more familiar you will get to His voice.

God is our Father. He lives inside our bodies. He immediately starts to communicate with us and we can immediately hear His voice. Just get familiar with His voice.

At your born-again experience, you became a new born baby in the eyes of God. It does not matter how old your body is, your spirit is a baby. In the same way a child is born to its mother, the mom immediately starts to talk to the baby, feed the baby, protect the baby, provide for the baby. The baby can immediately hear the voice of Mom, Dad, and everyone around them. They begin to associate the love and the food with the voice. It can take a little time before the baby starts to recognize that distinct voice of mom or dad from all others. It’s that familiar voice of the person that is always there for them. That’s how you must think about your new relationship with God. HE IS INVISIBLE AND HIS VOICE IS NOT AUDIBLE, so you have to train yourself to get used to that inner voice and train yourself to listen with your spiritual ears instead of with your natural ears.

As soon as you are born into the family of God spiritually, God is ready to talk to you. He is more excited about your adoption into His family than a mom and dad are about their newborn baby.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT YOURSELF IN THE POSTURE TO HEAR FROM GOD ON A REGULAR BASIS. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REMOVE ALL DISTRACTION AND GIVE GOD THE HONOR HE DESERVES. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HUMBLE YOURSELF AND BOW BEFORE HIM. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LEARN HIS VOICE SO YOU CAN RECOGNIZE HIM ABOVE ALL OTHER VOICES. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO RESPOND TO GOD WHEN HE SPEAKS TO YOU. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIIBLLITY TO OBEY GOD WITH EVERY THOUGHT WORD AND ACTION IN YOUR LIFE.

The more you surrender yourself to God in obedience and love the more He will talk to you and be involved in your life. God NEVER forces Himself on you. He calls, He invites, He then WAITS for you to respond. YOU MUST LEARN TO LISTEN WITH YOUR SPIRIT NOT WITH YOUR EARS.

The Holy Spirit of God in you is God talking to you. His presence is like that 6^th sense that leads you, and guides you. He is that KNOWING that you have inside that you can’t explain sometime. People who are blind or deaf have to learn to rely more on their other senses, Touch, smell or taste. With the Holy Spirit you have to look inside your self and listen to what’s going on inside your spirit without the use of any of the other 5 senses.

I’ve heard some people describe the voice of God as, “something just told me”, or “I just had a feeling inside”. The voice of God is a knowing and a deeper understanding sometimes. His voice can be an idea that you never had that simply answers or solves a problem you may be needing help with.

Your spirit man is the real you. You can not see him with your natural eyes and you can not hear him with your natural ears but He’s the real you. You should know the real you better than you know the flesh and blood you. You should know the real you better than anyone else knows you. Your spirit man speaks and hears just like your natural body does, but just in a deeper capacity.

Prayer is a two way conversation between you and God. When we come before God with request or troubles that we need help with, we MUST BE ABLE TO HEAR GOD FOR ANSWERS. God has covered every subject matter that man needs to know in the Bible for our peace, joy, healing, provision or anything else we need. As soon as you discipline yourself to obey the general instructions from God to ALL OF HIS CHILDREN, you will open the door of your heart to hear a specific word from God that you may need about your life and circumstances.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you had a friend that was ALWAYS there for you, ALWAYS loving and kind, ALWAYS supported you, ALWAYS knew how to solve your problems, ALWAYS had exactly what you needed and no matter how much it cost they were willing to give it to you for free? THAT’S OUR FATHER GOD!! All we have to do is love Him back and He said we can have anything we want. We just have to ask for it.

God is our constant companion, counselor and our constant guide. He is the One merging our will with His will to get us through the life plan that is best for us. He is opening doors of opportunity when He sees we are willing to walk thru them. He is sending the right people in our lives that have similar goals and vision that we have that could help us along our path.

When we are in constant communication with God then we are praying without ceasing because prayer is just talking to God. God is invisible but He is a real supernatural Father that will never ever leave you when you become one of His children.

God instructs us to stay in constant prayer and communication with Him. Especially in this present generation because sin is so strong, we need God to keep us on the straight and narrow.

Philippians 4:6, Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

1 Timothy 2:1, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

WHO ARE YOU PRAYING TO?

MIRACLES only come from the One True God. All good things come from God. We have already discussed this in detail in the Trinity chapter. When you need God’s help, you need to make sure He is hearing your prayers .

Almighty God is an INVISIBLE GOD. When you pray you are not praying to anything you can see with your natural eyes. No statue, no cross, no picture of Jesus, not Buddha, not the sun, moon or stars. You are not praying to an angel, a priest or a preacher.

Jesus is spiritual. He is alive sitting on the right hand of Almighty God in Heaven. He is listening intently to every word you say if you have accepted Him as your Savior. When we pray we are praying to God and Jesus Christ in your mind and imagination FROM our Heart. Our heart is speaking to the spirit of God, who is in Heaven.

Muslims also are praying to an invisible god. However they are not praying to the One True God through Jesus Christ or in the name of Jesus like Christians do. Make sure you have your thoughts and heart straight about the GOD you are worshipping and talking to. There is only ONE GOD and ONE WAY TO ENTER INTO HIS PRESENCE. THAT IS THROUGH THE NAME OF AND THE SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is One God, and One Mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.

Once we have prayed to JESUS CHRIST and ask Him to forgive our sins, we are part of the family of God. We are now righteous enough to come before God to talk to Him and hear what He has to say to us. We can now have a conversation with God because of the blood sacrifice Jesus made that cleansed us from all sin so we are holy and clean before God.

Our communication and relationship with God is a spiritual experience. When you need help from God YOU MUST BE STRONG MINDED DETERMINED AND UNSHAKENED IN YOUR PURSUIT FOR VICTORY. Satan battles you in your mind to try to make you give up and doubt the promises of God. Stay strong minded on the promises and love of God.

Remember God can not be in the presence of sin. Man’s sin nature puts a wall between man and God. But because of Jesus we can now humbly and boldly come into the awesome presence of God. Jesus tore down the wall that separated us from God. When we pray, we pray to God in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the One who gives us access into the presence of God.

John 14:13-14, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

Praying in Jesus’ name means we come before God and present the righteousness of JESUS. Jesus is our blood sacrifice that cleanses us and allows us entry into the presence of God. WITHOUT JESUS WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK TO GOD. Praying in Jesus name is praying with the same authority as Jesus. We are asking God the Father to act upon our prayers because we come in the name of His Son, Jesus.

Being sinless because of the blood of Jesus gives us that confidence and boldness we need to come into God’s presence in prayer. We are worthy to stand before Him. We don’t have to feel ashamed or condemned.

1 John 5:14-15, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him”

Saying “in Jesus’ name” at the end of a prayer is not a magic formula. If what we ask for or say in prayer is not for God’s glory and according to His will, saying “in Jesus’ name” is meaningless. Genuinely praying in Jesus’ name and for His glory is what is important, not attaching certain words to the end of a prayer. Praying for things that are in agreement with God’s will is the essence of praying in Jesus’ name.

AUTHORITY AND POWER

As a child of God, the life of Jesus is the example every human being is expected to follow. He showed us the life that is possible IF YOU totally surrender to God.

The reason Jesus was able to do miracles and portray the power of God was because He had totally surrendered His life, body soul and spirit for God to live through. He was committed to allowing GOD HIMSELF to live through His human body.

John 12:48-50 Living Bible, “But all who reject me and my message will be judged at the Day of Judgment by the truths I have spoken. For these are not my own ideas, but I have told you what the Father said to tell you. And I know his instructions lead to eternal life; so whatever he tells me to say, I say!”

John 5:19-20 Living Bible, “Jesus replied, “The Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing, and in the same way. For the Father loves the Son, and tells him everything he is doing; and the Son will do far more awesome miracles than this man’s healing.

The life of a Christian is to BECOME as much like Jesus as possible by letting God live through us as much as humanly possible.

As a Christian we are able, and actually expected to live the same way Jesus lived. God expects us to totally surrender ourselves to Him and allow Him to live through us like He did Jesus.

As a child of God, we have authority in the name of Jesus, to pray, live, and speak anything that is God’s will and expect it to happen. God is living life through us. When we keep that perspective, it keeps us in the right frame of mind to receive the miracles and answers to our prayers.

Luke 10:19-20 Living Bible, “And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you! However, the important thing is not that demons obey you, but that your names are registered as citizens of heaven.”

The way God explained this to me was like when I need healing for my body and speak and demand my body to be healed, I rebuke the sickness and it must leave because when I speak it is actually God speaking through me. He is healing my body because my body is God’s temple. God does not share His temple with the darkness of Satan, sickness or disease. God instructs us SPEAK TO DARKNESS SICKNESS AND DISEASE IN JESUS NAME!.

Since it is God speaking through me I KNOW I AM VICTORIOUS because there is NO OTHER NAME more superior or powerful than JESUS. I am receiving what I ask for. Sickness and disease and ALL FOMS OF DARKNESS MUST FLEE.

John 14:12-13 Living Bible, “In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask him for anything, using myname, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you.

I am God’s ambassador. I represent God, the family of God and the Kingdom of God. I allow God to work through me in the name of Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:19-21 Living Bible, “For God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men’s sins against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others. ²⁰We are Christ’s ambassadors. God is using us to speak to you: we beg you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, receive the love he offers you—be reconciled to God. ²¹For God took the sinless Christ and poured into him our sins. Then, in exchange, he poured God’s goodness into us!

If I need financial help I call in what I want in Jesus name and expect it to happen because when I speak it is actually God speaking through me. God is calling the money in through my voice to accomplish HIS WILL HERE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

Matthew 6:9-10 Living Bible “Pray along these lines: ‘Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name. We ask that your kingdom will come now. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven.

In Heaven, everything is given to us as a gift from God. We don’t have to beg for it or try to figure it out or pay for anything. God said we can expect the same thing here on Earth “as it is in Heaven.” In Heaven, nobody is sick. Everyone has a mansion. There is no pain, sorrow, loneliness, fear or unhappiness.

When I decided to buy a house, I actually said in my mind and with my voice, “God is buying a house today. He is going to let me live in it, take care of it and enjoy it.” Nothing can stop that from happening because if God wants to buy a house today and give it to me, then He will. If God wants my body healed then it will be healed. I stand on the Bible promises of God that tells me HE WANTS TO DO THESE THINGS FOR ME. GOD LOVES ME. IT IS HIS WILL.

Matthew 6:9-10, “Pray along these lines: ‘Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name. ¹⁰We ask that your kingdom will come now. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven.

Romans 8:31, “What can we ever say to such wonderful things as these? If God is on our side, who can ever be against us?

If God is on our side then our prayers are going to be answered. God is willing and able to help us if WE believe. It does not matter what other people say or do. God knows how to take care of His children.

When I pray for a debt free house, I can expect to receive it as certain as I can expect to receive salvation. IT IS GOD’S WILL I GET BORN AGAIN. IT IS GOD’S WILL MY BODY IS HEALED. AND IT IS GOD’S WILL THAT I HAVE A DEBT FREE HOUSE AND LAND OF MY OWN. If the Bible, WHICH IS GOD’S WILL AND TESTAMENT TO US, says it, then it is legally yours. Just believe it and GOD WILL BRING IT TO PASS.

Everyone likes to to have people on their side and supporting them. But the truth is even if NO OTHER PERSON IN THIS WORLD prays with you and believes for your miracles to happen, IT’S OK. God is all you need and He is always faithful and trustworthy.

Romans 3:3-4, “True, some of them were unfaithful, but just because they broke their promises to God, does that mean God will break his promises? ⁴Of course not! Though everyone else in the world is a liar, God is not. Do you remember what the book of Psalms says about this? That God’s words will always prove true and right, no matter who questions them.

Even if your spouse, your parents, your friends, family or even your pastor does not pray and believe with you, it doesn’t matter YOU AND GOD ARE A MAJORITY. If you keep believing God’s word above ALL THE OTHER NEGATIVE VOICES, GOD WILL BE FAITHFUL TO KEEP HIS WORD TO YOU. GOD WILL NOT FAIL YOU.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Amp Bible, “Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

I find God’s will for me, in His bible promises. When I speak I do so as if it is actually God speaking. I expect to receive what I say as if God demanded it to happen Himself. God does not speak in thundering voices to people today in 2022. He speaks to us in our spirit and then WE PUT VOICE TO IT. Go to the page “MIRACLE PROMISES” where I have a small list of things spiritual and material that God promises you can have as a gift of inheritance from Him as HIS CHILD. Even if I do not have it listed, God has a promise of deliverance for every single problem you may be experiencing, Just get your bible out and find it.

John 14:11-13 Living Bible, Just believe it—that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or else believe it because of the mighty miracles you have seen me do. In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you.

When we pray for someone else we pray for them as if Jesus Himself was praying. That’s what is happening when we use the name of Jesus.

We put a verbal voice to the promises of God and God’s power is then expressed through us. GOD IS DOING THE MIRACLE. WE ARE JUST PUTTING A VOICE TO THE PROMISE. OUR HEART AND SOUL BELIEVE THE PROMISE AND FAITH IS RELEASED FOR THE MIRACLE.

Zechariah 4:6 Living Bible, “Then he said, ………‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty—you will succeed because of my Spirit, though you are few and weak. “

If you can not find the promise in the Bible, then you can not expect the miracle. But God has listed everything we need in this life.

As long as what I want and what I need is the will of God, then I can speak it in the authority of the name of Jesus and receive it because it is actually God in me that’s receiving it. I am just His vessel that gets to enjoy it.

When God is living life through me, I get to enjoy that privilege and benefit.

IS GOD LISTENING TO YOUR PRAYER

You are not going to be faithfully confident that your prayers will be answered if you are not faithfully confident that God is even listening and hearing.

1 John 5:14-15 Living Bible, “And we are sure of this, that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. And if we really know he is listening when we talk to him and make our requests, then we can be sure that he will answer us.

If we have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, we are a member of God’s family and have been given the permission by Jesus to talk to God at anytime and KNOW HE HEARS and cares about everything we are going through.

Hebrews 4:15, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

Psalm 103:13, “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.

Keep it clear, we can come to God only through Jesus Christ. He and He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. He gives us access to God. Its our relationship with Jesus that creates a relationship with God. That relationship with the Trinity of God assures us that our prayers are heard and answered.

Psalm 66:19 “But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.”

John 9:31 “We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.”

1 Peter 3:12 “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

When we accept Jesus as Savior, we become children of God . That personal father-child relationship with God through our faith in Jesus Christ, assures us that God hears our prayers. GOD IS ONLY OBLIGATED TO HEAR AND ANSWER THE PRAYERS OF HIS CHILDREN. IF YOU ARE NOT HIS DON’T EXPECT TO RECEIVE.

God will not interfere in our lives to help us until HE IS ASKED AND INVITED. As soon as we ask and invite Him into the situation, He hears us and says yes. The prayer does not have to be long and formal. Just call upon Him He will hear you and He will answer. Even if the prayer is just, “Lord help me please. I don’t know what to do and I don’t where where to turn. I am asking for your help and deliverance.

He also said, if we just know He hears us, then we can have whatever we ask of Him. It is our relationship to Christ and being in Him who is at His right hand of God the Father as our advocate that allows us the privilege of not only coming into God’s presence through prayer, but of being heard.

2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV , “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”

As children of God, we are now citizens of the Kingdom of God. God’s kingdom works for us here on Earth by faith. The words of our faith is the switch that ignites the power. When we believe in God and His promises, our prayers are answered and we receive what we believe.

When we come before God in prayer we must come sincerely whole heartedly knowing and fully persuaded that God is with us, hearing us and already has a solution to the problems we are experiencing.

Romans 4:20-21 Living Bible, “He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened. He was completely sure that God was well able to do anything he promised.

It is absolutely essential that you know how much God loves you and that it is His character to want to do good things for you.

YOU HAVE NOT BECAUSE YOU ASK NOT

You might say, well if God already has these wonderful things put aside for you, then why don’t He just give them to you?

James 4:2 Living Bible, “You want what you don’t have, so you kill to get it. You long for what others have, and can’t afford it, so you start a fight to take it away from them. And yet the reason you don’t have what you want is that you don’t ask God for it.

God never goes against free will. And He does not barge into our lives uninvited. He will set something fabulous up for you but if your pride, vanity, rebellion, fear, or just plain ignorance tells you it’s not going to happen, or you want God to bless you your way and not His way, then your blessings are passed by.

God ONLY WORKS THROUGH OUR FAITH IN HIM AND HIS WORD. He does not react to our complaining and begging. He does not react if we have doubt or unbelief in Him. God ONLY MOVES BY OUR FAITH.

GOD DOES NOT MAKE YOU TAKE HIS BLESSING. But He does require you to trust Him and receive things HIS WAY not yours.

Remember when you come before God you better watch your attitude because God is definitely watching it. When you were a little kid and you wanted your dad to buy you something, I’m sure you knew coming before him telling him how wonderful he is and how much you loved him, got you much further than demanding, crying, and having an attitude. God does not buckle under temper tantrums. God knows your heart so be nice and sincere.

1 John 5:14-15, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him.

When we pray, we are inviting God into our situation. God does not involve Himself until we ask Him too.

Remember God ALWAYS listens to HIS CHILDREN. He don’t hear the prayers of sinners unless it’s a prayer of salvation. If you are outside of God’s family don’t expect His help. God is only obligated to HIS CHILDREN.

I’ve had the privilege to counsel many people. But I am surprised when people tell me about their troubles, and I ask them if they have already prayed about it, many say no. What are you waiting for? You don’t have to suffer another minute. You don’t have to go to church for prayer.

You don’t have to have someone pray with you.

God loves you. You are His child. He wants you to talk to him. He wants to answer your prayers and help you. Get alone with God and start talking to Him TODAY, FACE TO FACE!!

WHAT CAN YOU PRAY FOR

God said if we ask for ANYTHING according to His will. So what is His will? ANY promise in the bible that He has made for anyone or any miracle He has ever done for anyone IS HIS WILL. If what you are asking for results in righteousness, peace, joy and love, YOU WILL GET YOUR REQUEST FROM GOD.

Jesus told us to pray in this fashion.

Matthew 6:8-13,“Don’t recite the same prayer over and over as the heathen do, who think prayers are answered only by repeating them again and again. Remember, your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him. “Pray along these lines: ‘Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name. We ask that your kingdom will come now. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. Give us our food again today, as usual, and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us.Don’t bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One. Amen.’

So Jesus said we can ask for anything “to be done here on Earth for us as it is in Heaven.”

God does not go against OUR free will, but He also does not go against HIS WILL for us either. He knows whats best for us and He knows the plans and the future He has planned for us. It is to our advantage and our responsibility to spend as much time with God as possible talking to Him and reading His word to find out what HIS WILL is for us.

This is why you get out your bible and read it. Then you find the promises and see what He has done for other people. There is absolutely nothing in your life that is not covered in the bible. You need to read your bible and talk to God and learn His promises for yourself.

When you pray for others, the same principal is in play. You can not pray against other peoples free will, but you can pray that God’s will be overpowering in their life. You can rebuke the enemy and the attacks from Satan that may be keeping them from hearing from God clearly. If your spouse, your grown children is sinning, you may not be able to stop them but you can most definitely pray the will of God over their lives. Pray for them to see the error of their ways and be the man or woman GOD WANTS THEM TO BE.

We only speak of and refer to our problem “as if ” it’s a thing of the past and already been answered. If we have ask God for help according to His will, then the answer is YES. Even if you don’t see it yet, its coming.

You can not doubt the promises of God or He won’t do what your asking. You have to have faith in God. God’s written promises in the bible are just as powerful as if He were speaking verbally directly to you.

Mark 11:22 “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that he should lie;
He doesn’t change his mind like humans do. Has he ever promised, Without doing what he said?

James 1:5-8 Living Bible, “If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; 7-8 and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that. If you don’t ask with faith, don’t expect the Lord to give you any solid answer.

God knows all the suffering and pain some people are going through, but He does not step in to stop it without your invitation. We ask, believe, speak and receive.

Matthew 7:7 Amplified Bible , “Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.

Psalm 84:11, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

FAITH MOVES GOD TO ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS

FAITH IS THE ONLY THING THAT MOVES GOD IN YOUR SITUATION. Crying begging pleading bargaining suffering DOES NOT MOVE HIM.

Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for who- ever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. “

When you have a need the first thing you do is pray and ask God for His help. That is exercising faith in God. Then you get the bible and find His promise to deliver. That is exercising faith in God’s word and promises. Then no matter who or what tries to tell you something different than the promise you rebuke it and stand against it.

Be aware that immediately when you make a choice to believe God for something Satan comes with negative thoughts and negative people to say you’re not going to get it. He tells you its impos- sible. He tells you your not worthy.

Just keep on resisting and keep on believing because God is faithful to His promise. He will not in any way fail you if you believe.

Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the Lord who goes before you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Hebrews 13:5-6”…….for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” 6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say, “The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid.

1 Corinthians 1:9 Living Bible, God will surely do this for you, for he always does just what he says, and he is the one who invited you into this wonderful friendship with his Son, even Christ our Lord.

Mark 11:22-23 In reply Jesus said to the disciples, “If you only have faith in God—this is the abso- lute truth—you can say to this Mount of Olives, ‘Rise up and fall into the Mediterranean,’ and your command will be obeyed. All that’s required is that you really believe and have no doubt!

John 11:40 Living Bible,“But didn’t I tell you that you will see a wonderful miracle from God if you believe?” Jesus asked her.

Prayer is not a time of complaining, begging and crying. We come before God to present our problem and then remind Him of His promise to help. We tell Him we KNOW He has promised to help and we believe it is done and ALREADY all worked out. Remember God “knew the end of ALL LIFE from the beginning of creation.” God knew about you and heard ALL YOUR PRAYERS even before Adam and Eve were created.

Ecclesiastes 3:11He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Isaiah 46:10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Revelation 1:8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Revelation 21:6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

He already knew you would be born. He already heard that prayer you’ve been praying. He already said YES and has the answer all worked out for you. But He knows the right time. He knows how to pull the right strings and make the right connections in your life to get you where you want to be. And the desires you have in your heart are the desires God put in there. He gave you your talents and gifts. He gave you a purpose that fits perfectly in His overall world plan. Pray big life changing prayers. God is looking for a fearless courageous heart that will allow Him to do mighty things through.

We know He hears us and our prayers have been answered. From then on we praise Him and thank Him for working everything out for us.

Psalm 100 Living Bible, “Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth! 2 Obey him gladly; come before him, singing with joy. Try to realize what this means—the Lord is God! He made us—we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation.

GOD IS NOT IN A HURRY

Most of the time when we need God to help us we think we need it right then. But God knows your situation. He sees everyone involved. He knows precisely when to do something. God is very seldom in a hurry, but I promise you HE IS NEVER LATE. Even if you did not get your prayer answered like YOU WANTED and answered WHEN YOU WANTED, that does not mean God has not kept HIS PROMISE TO YOU. It just means you didn’t realize what you were asking for was not a good thing or that what you were asking for was not God’s best for you. He probably has something much much better.

Hebrews 10:35-39 Amplified Bible, “ Do not, therefore, fling away your [fearless] confidence, for it has a glorious and great reward. For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one [the one justified by faith] shall live by faith [respecting man’s relationship to God and trusting Him]; And if he draws back [shrinking in fear], My soul has no delight in him. But [a]our way is not that of those who shrink back to destruction, but [we are] of those who believe [relying on God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by this confident faith preserve the soul.

When God answers a prayer or gives you a blessing, He wants it to make a real permanent difference in your life. So He may delay to give other people involved an opportunity to be in a better position. He may delay to help you mature and step better into God’s will and purpose for you.

When we have to wait it develops the spirit of patience inside of us. God uses that waiting period to develop our character and strengthen our faith and patience. Remember God is looking deep in your soul, heart and mind to see if there is something inside of you that He needs to deal with first before He answers your prayers. Some people get their prayers answered instantly. But God knows when the time is right. So many times you have to wait a bit.

Hebrews 6:11-12 Living Bible, “And we are anxious that you keep right on loving others as long as life lasts, so that you will get your full reward. Then, knowing what lies ahead for you, you won’t become bored with being a Christian nor become spiritually dull and indifferent, but you will be anxious to follow the example of those who receive all that God has promised them because of their strong faith and patience.

Patience is also called “LONGSUFFERING.” Being patient is one of my many weaknesses. Every day I have to wait seems more like suffering. So for me, “long-suffering” actually fits more perfectly.

Colossians 3:12-14 (AMP), “So, as God’s own chosen people, who are holy [set apart, sanctified for His purpose] and well-beloved [by God Himself], put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience [longsuffering, which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes, with good temper]; ¹³bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive. ¹⁴Beyond all these things put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love, which is the perfect bond of unity [for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others].

Sometimes God is waiting to answer our prayers because He needs us to get things right with some people in our lives or change some choices we are making that is out of the will of God. God knows giving us power, money or blessings BEFORE we have a disciplined, mature and loving attitude can be more detrimental than good.

When God does not answer right away, just keep believing that He is going to answer, and HE WILL

1 Peter 5:10, “After you have suffered a little while, our God, who is full of kindness through Christ, will give you his eternal glory. He personally will come and pick you up, and set you firmly in place, and make you stronger than ever.

Sometimes we have to wait and even suffer a little before the answer comes. While you are waiting, remember God KNOWS WHATS BEST. Don’t get aggravated with God. The waiting helps us grow in faith and mature spiritually. The waiting can sometime teach us lessons that we need to learn. For whatever reason, sometimes we have to wait. BUT DON”T GIVE UP. Keep waiting keep trying, keep expecting till you get what you asked for.

While you are waiting your spiritual faith is being tested and growing stronger.

James 1:3, “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Many times when we are impatient we jump on the first sign of a breakthrough too early and end up settling for something far less than what God really wants us to have. So waiting patiently and then moving in God’s timing will help us to be in a position of “completeness” and “wholeness” that God is trying to get us to.

James 1:3-5 (AMP), “Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. ⁴And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.

When you are fully confident God has heard you and has answered your prayer, you will have a feeling of calmness and resolve. You won’t be worried or anxious.

Hebrews 4:1-3 Living Bible, “Although God’s promise still stands—his promise that all may enter his place of rest—we ought to tremble with fear because some of you may be on the verge of failing to get there after all. For this wonderful news—the message that God wants to save us—has been given to us just as it was to those who lived in the time of Moses. But it didn’t do them any good because they didn’t believe it. They didn’t mix it with faith. For only we who believe God can enter into his place of rest. He has said, “I have sworn in my anger that those who don’t believe me will never get in,” even though he has been ready and waiting for them since the world began.

When my Dad was alive, every time I had a problem I ran to my Dad for help. I knew he would help me even if he was mad at me about something. HE NEVER LET ME DOWN. I needed rent money one month. I ask my Dad about a week before it was due and he said he would pay it for me. Time he said yes I considered it done. Dad did not rush right over but I never worried about it, I didn’t keep calling Him and begging him for it, because I trusted him and knew he always kept his word. The day before it was due, he brought me the money. RIGHT ON TIME!

I remember that situation sometimes when I am asking God for something and He don’t answer right away. I know God loves me even more than my earthly Dad did. And I know there is nothing God can not and will not do for me. When I ask God for help, I consider it done. While I’m waiting I don’t stress about it, because I know God’s got things handled for me. So, I keep my faith and confidence in check knowing God’s timing is perfect and He is never late. I just restfully wait. The promises of God are mixed with our faith in God. That settles it in our mind, emotions and heart and helps us to wait calmly and restfully.

Hebrews 4:1-13 Message Bible, “For as long, then, as that promise of resting in him pulls us on to God’s goal for us, we need to be careful that we’re not disqualified. We received the same promises as those people in the wilderness, but the promises didn’t do them a bit of good because they didn’t receive the promises with faith. If we believe, though, we’ll experience that state of resting. But not if we don’t have faith. Remember that God said, Exasperated, I vowed, “They’ll never get where they’re going, never be able to sit down and rest.” God made that vow, even though he’d finished his part before the foundation of the world. Somewhere it’s written, “God rested the seventh day, having completed his work,” but in this other text he says, “They’ll never be able to sit down and rest.” So this promise has not yet been fulfilled. Those earlier ones never did get to the place of rest because they were disobedient. God keeps renewing the promise and setting the date as today, just as he did in David’s psalm, centuries later than the original invitation: Today, please listen, don’t turn a deaf ear . . .And so this is still a live promise. It wasn’t canceled at the time of Joshua; otherwise, God wouldn’t keep renewing the appointment for “today.” The promise of “arrival” and “rest” is still there for God’s people. God himself is at rest. And at the end of the journey we’ll surely rest with God. So let’s keep at it and eventually arrive at the place of rest, not drop out through some sort of disobedience. God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one can resist God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.”

PRAY ACCORDING TO THE WORD AND BIBLE PROMISE

The word of God should be the core of our prayer. God has every promise in His word that we would be faced with while we are here on this earth. We go to the bible and find the promise from God to help us in that particular area of our lives and then believe He is doing it.

Jeremiah 1:12 KJV, “Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

God’s words have power. His words never ever fail or become void. If He promised us something, then He’ll do it now and throughout eternity. Say it. Believe it. No matter what things look like, or what anyone else may tell you. Just believe God.

One day I was praying for something and it was completely impossible for me to do it. I absolutely had to have a miracle from God. I had been praying for several months with no breakthrough. So even though it was impossible for me to do anything I started giving God suggestions on things HE COULD DO TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. Stupid right?

Well God let me do this a few times before He finally said, “I made those promises and I know how and when to keep them without your advise.”

I learned a life lesson that went deep in my soul. Plus I saw an area in my life that I needed help in.

God said He would heal you BY SENDING YOU HIS WORD AND HIS PROMISE. He makes the promise, then the word is spoken in faith and believed in your heart. If you put your bible up to your ears you won’t hear it say a thing. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT A VOICE TO GOD’S WORDS AND PROMISES.

Psalm 107:20, ‘He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

That’s why we have the written bible. It is a quick reference book for our lives. That is God’s will and testament to His children. That is His blood covenant contract to His children. That is His promise to save and help to His children.

You should know that if you pray according to God’s will He will give it to you. The key is knowing His will. God wants all His children blessed, happy, prosperous, healthy.

III John:2 (Amp), “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Whatever God has for you in Heaven or if it is permissible in Heaven, GOD SAYS YOU CAN HAVE IT HERE ON EARTH TOO.

Matthew 6:10, “We ask that your kingdom will come now. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven.

Your purpose and the purposes of all of us here on earth, are not self- involvement. Our purpose is to be a blessing to others, a help to others and a witness for God Almighty.

SATAN HEARS YOUR PRAYERS

Don’t forget you have an enemy Satan that does not like a child of God and definitely does not want you getting your prayers answered. So when He hears you pray to God for something the first thing he does is tell you you’re not getting it.

Satan can not hear your thoughts, but he can send you destructive negative thoughts, to try to make you say something or think something that is against God’s will for you. Satan hears the prayers you say out loud and the confessions of faith you make out loud everyday. Thats OK because you MUST SAY THE PROMISES OF GOD OUT LOUD BEFORE THEY WILL COME TO PASS. We must believe with our heart and then confess with our mouth. That is the God given process.

Romans 8:8-10, “For salvation that comes from trusting Christ—which is what we preach—is already within easy reach of each of us; in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths. ⁹For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation.

That activates the faith and then brings power for the promise. Just remember with the confession of faith, comes resistance and tribulation from Satan.

Satan immediately starts sending opposition your way to try to defeat you. He immediately sends lies to you to shake you off of the truth of God’s word. Satan knows no matter what you ask for, no matter how impossible it looks, GOD WILL ANSWER IF YOU BELIEVE. So Satan brings as much pressure as he can to make you doubt and stop believing.

Mark 4:15-20 (LB), “The hard pathway, where some of the seed fell, represents the hard hearts of some of those who hear God’s message; Satan comes at once to try to make them forget it. ¹⁶The rocky soil represents the hearts of those who hear the message with joy, but, like young plants in such soil, their roots don’t go very deep, and though at first they get along fine, as soon as persecution begins, they wilt. “The thorny ground represents the hearts of people who listen to the Good News and receive it, but all too quickly the attractions of this world and the delights of wealth, and the search for success and lure of nice things come in and crowd out God’s message from their hearts, so that no crop is produced. “But the good soil represents the hearts of those who truly accept God’s message and produce a plentiful harvest for God—thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as was planted in their hearts.”

After you have read or heard the promise from God in the Bible that GOD WILL DO WHAT YOU HAVE ASKED HIM FOR, Satan immediately comes lying to you telling you God is not going to do it for you. Satan sends people and circumstances to tell you to give up its not happening for you. And God will sit and wait to see how YOU respond to that lie. God lets you show how much patience you have to wait on God without complaining. God waits because it is YOUR FAITH, YOUR WORDS, YOUR Godly biblical THOUGHTS, that moves God. God will allow you the opportunity to be tested and choose what voice you will follow. The TRUTH of God’s word, or the LIES of Satan.

NEVER EVER GIVE UP ON GOD AND LISTEN TO THE LIES OF SATAN. No matter how long it takes, no matter what your circumstances look like, no matter what doctor, lawyer or politician might tell you, if it is opposite the word and promise of God DON’T BELIVE IT.

Many times when you are praying for deliverance for something, God will sit silent until the very last minute before He answers so Satan does not have enough time to mess up your miracle and try to intercede your blessing.

Your defense against the lies and opposition to Satan is saying “I BELIEVE GOD”. Jesus had much opposition from Satan. He ALWAYS RESPONDED, “IT IS WRITTEN.” Jesus is our example on how to deal with the lies and opposition from Satan.

I believe God’s word not Satan’s word. I don’t care who speaks against the word of God I still believe God over them. God has the final word in my life. EVEN IF God does not answer my prayers, I have made up in my mind I will believe Him anyway.

There is no trouble or problem that is not covered in the bible. There are no new temptations, pressures or situations that Satan can do to man that he hasn’t already done to someone else. He has the same tricks that he pulls on people generation after generation. He’s clever. He’s been deceiving man for several thousand years. But once you learn his tricks you can be wise to his schemes.

Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

Some people get their prayers answered instantly. But God knows when the time is right. While you are waiting your spiritual faith is being tested and growing stronger.

When God is around miracles will happen. If you’ll just believe that He’s with you, He is hearing your prayers, you know everything is going to turn out good. God will not in any way leave you stranded and hopeless. He loves you too much. Keep saying and believing God’s word and His promises. If He promised something, He will do it because it’s impossible for Him to lie.

YOU MUST STAND ALONE

Many times, when we are believing God for Him to fulfil one of His promises in our life, NO ONE is around to hold our hand or agree with us in prayer. We may be in a totally hope- less situation and your family friends and respected acquaintances are nowhere to be found to support and comfort you. Its ok.

God promises to honor YOUR FAITH AND TRUST IN HIM even if everyone around you does not believe.

Romans 5:4 (LB), “And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.

Hebrews 6:11-12 (AMP), “And we desire for each one of you to show the same diligence [all the way through] so as to realize and enjoy the full assurance of hope until the end, ¹²so that you will not be [spiritually] sluggish, but [will instead be] imitators of those who through faith [lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power] and by patient endurance [even when suffering] are [now] inheriting the promises

It is through faith and patience we inherit the promises of God. We stand against all opposition to the promises of God no matter who it is that is opposing the promise.

I want to share a story about a healing for a family member when I had to stand alone, but God showed up and he got his miracle.

My 20-year-old nephew was in a terrible car accident. I was called to the hospital where he was of course in ICU. I immediately started praying for his recovery and asking God to heal him. The doctors, the nurses, ALL my family said he was not going to recover. The doctors had him on life support. They suggested I arrange to have him sent to a facility where he would remain for the rest of his life because they said he would never be able to care for himself. For 10 weeks I prayed, laid hands on him, fasted and believed while hearing the doctors say he was not going to get better. I refused to give up. One morning the doctors came in telling me a decision needed to be made because he couldn’t stay on life support and he couldn’t stay in the hospital. I felt a determination and a holy anger so strong. I told them fine, if they couldn’t help him, I was taking him home and they needed to take all those tubes off of him so he could breathe on his own. They made me sign a paper releasing them from all liability because they did not agree with my decision. No one from my church came to pray with me, no one in my family was there praying and believing with me, but later that same day a pastor and his associate from a church I had never gone to, came up to ICU to pray for the sick. I didn’t know who they were when I first saw them across the hospital, but I heard God tell me to motioned for them to come to me and pray with me. As we laid hands on my nephew and spoke in tongues I felt the power of God rest upon me and my nephew. I knew God had healed him. The next morning when the doctors came in to take the life support off, they all expected the worse. But my nephew opened his eyes and breathed on his own. He had traumatic brain injury and did not know who I was at first. But in just a couple of days he was speaking and called me by name. From that day forward, he rapidly improved until I took him home 2 weeks later. Today he is perfectly fine. He is a supervisor for a painting company. He just celebrated his 27th birthday. There is nothing too hard for God. Don’t let any doctor ever tell you, you are hopeless or your loved one is hopeless. Don’t even let your unbelieving pastor and church group shake you off of God’s promises. We serve a Great Physician and He can heal you of anything if you believe!!

You need to be prepared for the fight and the opposition. The bigger the prayer and the miracle, the harder the fight is. All of God’s promises are yes and Amen. Jesus Christ is our SAVIOR. He will save us from any calamity, whether spiritual, physical or financial if we believe and don’t give up.

2 Corinthians 1:19-21……. I have been telling you about Jesus Christ the Son of God. He isn’t one to say yes when he means no. He always does exactly what he says. ²⁰He carries out and fulfills all of God’s promises, no matter how many of them there are; and we have told everyone how faithful he is, giving glory to his name. ²¹It is this God who has made you and me into faithful Christians and commissioned us apostles to preach the Good News.

There is nothing too hard, too big or too impossible for God. But your fight of faith will be challenged.

If you have a headache and need relief you can ask and immediately get it. But if you have terminal cancer, you have to dig deep and fight hard. Many times its a long wait. But God can and will heal you of anything. HE IS NEVER EVER LATE!!

The same goes for financial prayers. If you need $10 for a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread, that can come pretty easily. But if you are believing God for $500,000 to pay your house off, you better be dedicated and prepared for the fight. God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His children. So God absolutely wants you to have a debt free house and owe no man anything.

The last thing Satan wants you to have is good health and financial blessings. But thank goodness, Satan does not have the last word about our lives, GOD DOES.

I have many stories from healing to financial where God has miraculously answered my prayers, but I share this to show you it doesn’t matter what your doctor says, your pastor, your family and friends, your bank account, or anyone else that speaks against the word of God. IF GOD SAYS SOMETHING IN HIS WORD AND I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IT I CAN HAVE WHATEVER I BELIEVE. I don’t need a person to agree with me. I don’t even need my spouse to agree with me. I would like for my spouse to believe with me, but as long as I agree with God and the Bible, that’s all I need. HE WILL HONOR MY FAITH IN HIM, NO MATTER WHO DISAGREES WITH ME IN MY LIFE.

Each one of us individually has a blood covenant blessing and inheritance from God. Even when you do not have a flesh and blood person by your side in agreement, ALWAYS REMEMBER GOD IS THERE WITH YOU, AND THAT’S ALL YOU NEED!! You and God are partners in life. You and God are a majority. NOBODY has the last word about your life except you and God. No one can take or stop that blessing. No one can stop or block your healing. No one can stop or block your salvation. God will keep HIS WORD TO YOU AND FOR YOU, if you just believe it.

KINDS OF PRAYER

There are all kinds of prayer. I will discuss a few that are most common. But prayer and prayer request DO NOT NEED A LABEL for God to hear you and answer. There is no magic formula. God just needs a faithful heartfelt prayer from a righteous person who is asking God for help according to the will of God. Just talk to Him and do whatever He says. God is our friend. Talk to Him like a friend. You don’t need a special formula, strategy, special speech or words. Just talk to Him from your heart, truthfully and sincerely like you would your best friend.

James 5:16, Living Bible, “Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man has great power and wonderful results.

PRAYER FOR SALVATION……..This is the most important prayer because until you are a child of God, He is not listening to your prayers or obligated to help you.

John 9:31, “Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

John 3:16(KJV), “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

“Jesus I am a sinner. Save me, help me, I need you. I know You died on the cross for my sins, rose from the dead and now live at the right hand of God. I know that you shed your blood and sacrificed your life JUST FOR ME. I choose to live my life according to Your Word, the Bible. Thank you for saving me. Thank you for writing my name down in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus I receive you as Lord and Savior of my life forever. In Jesus name, Amen.”

A PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING……. We should always enter into the presence of God thanking and praising Him.

Psalm 100:4, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

PRAYER OF PETITION……. is something we are all familiar with. That’s when we come before God asking Him for something. If God promised you something as His child He is more than willing to give it to you when you ask as long as you are mature enough to handle it.

Philippians 1:4, “Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

Philippians 4:6 , “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Psalm 20:5, “We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our ban- ners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.

1 John 5:15, “And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

PRAYER OF INTERCESSION…… is when you come before God asking Him for help for another person. Some people are totally outside the will of God or just don’t know how to pray for help. We can come before God and ask Him to help them. This is an assignment that God has given to all of His children. PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:27, “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

1 Timothy 2:1, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

PRAYER OF AGREEMENT….is when there are two or more praying for something with one heart before God. God honors the prayers of people praying in unity with one another. This prayer is often used in church, prayer groups and families.

Matthew 18:18-20 King James Version, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Prayer of Dedication and Commitment..

Is when you make a vow or promise to God. You dedicate yourself in marriage. You dedicate your children to God. You commit to fulfil a call or assignment He has given you to do. It is a promise you are making to God.

Numbers 30:2, “If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

Deuteronomy 23:21-23 King James Version , “When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee. But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the Lord thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

PRAYER FOR HEALING………. is when you or someone you know needs to be healed. I want to focus on this one for a moment because God has instructed ALL HIS CHILDREN to do this.

There are so many sick people, especially during this time of the pandemic. Not just physical healing. People need emotional healing, mental healing, financial healing. People need prayer for protection and peace. People need prayer for wisdom and guidance.

Some people think its not God’s will for them to be healed of different sicknesses especially if they did something to cause it. Maybe you have smoked all your life and you have lung cancer. GOD STILL WANTS TO HEAL YOU. Maybe you have been a drinker and you have liver failure. GOD STILL WANTS TO HEAL YOU. Maybe you were out driving carelessly and you are paralyzed in the hospital. GOD STILL WANTS TO HEAL YOU.

Jesus shed His blood on the cross and gave His life so you could be healed of any sickness and disease, whether its your fault or not. Jesus NEVER CONDEMNS. HE HEALS AND SAVES.

God has instructed us to pray for people who are physically sick or hurting emotionally. He actually gives us a checklist for this one. Its not a formula you use every time. But it is a checklist to make sure you have covered all your basis.

*Speak to the sickness and command it to leave in JESUS NAME

*Lay hands on the person.
*Anoint them with oil
*Speak the promise of God

*Thank God for the answer

HEALING PROMISES OVER SICKNESS AND DISEASE

Psalm 107:20, KJV “He sent His Word, and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.”

James 5:15, KJV “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he hath committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”

Jeremiah 30:17a, KJV “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.”

Exodus 15:26, KJV “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

James 5:16, KJV “Pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”

Psalm 103:1-5, KJV “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His Holy Name! Bless the Lord, O my soul; and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Isaiah 53:4-5, KJV “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him strickened, smitten by God and afflicted; But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

God can heal you of any sickness and disease. God made your body. He knows how to fix it if its sick or broken. Whether it is cancer, AIDS, leukemia, heart disease. If the doctors say its hopeless and you are terminal, don’t believe that lie. GOD LOVES YOU AND WANTS TO HEAL YOU. GOD MADE YOU HE CAN DEFINITELY HEAL YOU OF ANYTHING. Whatever is wrong with you—put your trust and confidence in God that He may heal you and restore you back to health. It would be foolish to think that any attack from Satan could possibly overtake or overpower the majesty and power of God Almighty.

There are even greater miracles that God is willing and able to do if we will just believe. Jesus said when He left that He was sending God’s children a helper, The Holy Spirit, to help us when we pray for people. That help will give us the ability to do even greater miracles than Jesus did.

John 14:12-13 Living Bible “In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it, for this will bring praise to the Father because of what I, the Son, will do for you.

RAISE THE DEAD

The Bible says we as believers can raise the dead in the Name of Jesus. Jesus said we can lay our hands on the dead, pray for them, and God will bring them back to us, again, if it be His will for them to come back. I very much believe this is true. However, my Dad died in his sleep in April 2000. When I was told, I went to him at the morgue and anointed him with oil and asked God to fill him with life again. My Dad did not come back. I know my Dad is alive in Heaven, but his body here remained dead. I am glad I at least tried. If the opportunity arises for me to pray for the dead again, I probably will. I have heard of other Christian believers saying that they had prayed for the dead; some came back and some didn’t. Never give up hope. Keep trying.

King David lost a son. He prayed and fasted and believed God, but his son still died. God loved David and heard his prayers.

II Samuel 12:16-23, NIV “David pleaded with God for the child. He fasted and went into his house and spent the nights lying on the ground. The elders of his household stood beside him to get him up from the ground, but he refused and he would not eat any food with them. On the seventh day the child died. David’s servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they thought, ‘While the child was still living, we spoke to David but he would not listen to us. How can we tell him the child is dead? He may do something desperate.’ David noticed that this servants were whispering among them- selves and he realized the child was dead. ‘Is the child dead?’ he asked. ‘Yes,’ they replied, ‘he is dead.’ Then David got up from the ground. After he washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the Lord and wor- shipped. Then he went to his own house, and at his request they served him food, and he ate. His servants asked him, ‘Why are you acting this way? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat!’ He answered, ‘While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, “Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live.” But now that he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.’

There are no certain, specific procedures for raising the dead. But, from reading the Bible and hearing about the way Jesus did it, this is the way I would go about it. Anoint the person with oil. Lay hands on the person and rebuke death. Call the person by name and command the person to come back in the name of Jesus. Quote verses reminding God and the spirits that the Bible says we as Christians have the authority in Jesus Name to heal the sick and raise the dead. Thank God for covering you and them in the blood of Jesus and using you as a vessel for this great miracle.

Then, speak in tongues and expect to receive what you have asked for.

Matthew 10:7-8, KJV “…go preach saying, the kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, RAISE THE DEAD, cast out demons. Freely you have received, so freely give.”

Matthew 9:18; 23-25. KJV “…behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped Him (Jesus) saying, My daughter is even now dead; but come and lay thy hand upon her. And she shall live. And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making noise, He said unto them, Give place, for the maid is not dead but sleepeth. And they laughed Him to scorn. But when the people were put forth, He went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.”

Matthew 11:5, KJV “The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, THE DEAD ARE RAISED UP, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”

Luke 7:12-15, KJV “Now when He came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow and much people of the city was with her. And when the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her, and said unto her, weep not. And He came and touched the bier; and they that bare him stood still. And He said, young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And He delivered him to his mother.’

Believe in a miracle. If God said HE can do it then BELIEVE. At least try. You don‘t have to understand miracles to be able to receive or experience one. It’s not actually you that’s doing the miracle. You are just a vessel that God is working through. He needs you to lay your hands on the person so He can transfer the healing to them. God needs your heart to believe. God needs your love and compassion. God needs you to speak the promise and say the words in faith.

God is the electricity. the sick person or dead person is the darkness. You are the light switch. Just flip the switch on by speaking the word and allow God to pour the power into the situation.

Philippians 2:13, “for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure

John 14:10, “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.”

Zechariah 4:6, “Then he said, ……. ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty—you will succeed because of my Spirit, though you are few and weak.’

The Holy Spirit of God is a supernatural God. Miracles are supernatural. Its not something that can be done outside the supernatural ability of God making it happen. God does work through doctors and other professionals. Do whatever your doctor or professional tells you to do, but when they don’t know what to do, it’s OK. God does know. Impossible situations are God’s specialty. That’s when God needs you, TO BE A BELIEVER OF MIRACLES, to step in and allow God to heal through your body.

Genesis 8:14, KJV “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?”

Deuteronomy 33:3(NCV), “The Lord surely loves His people and takes care of all those who belong to Him”

God created human beings. If something needs to be repaired HE KNOWS HOW TO FIX IT. God breathed life into man. He still knows how to breathe life into man if we need it. Do CPR and believe God for a miracle.

Cast out devils – exorcism…..

Most people believe that only the catholic religion do exorcisms and cast out devils. But Jesus was not Catholic and He did it all the time. Jesus announced that ALL GOD’S CHILDREN CAN CAST OUT DEVILS, IN JESUS NAME, if we believe. It is actually a commandment for God’s children to pray for people and cast out their demons.

And remember it is not by human power and might that demons are destroyed and cast out of people. It is by the SPIRIT OF GOD AND THE NAME OF JESUS that demons flee.

YES, people are possessed by demons in 2021. More so now than they have ever been. People being possessed by devils is a real thing. Don’t compare the theatrical Hollywood version of demon possession to people of today. They can act like that; Spitting green, contoursioning their body, speaking in a deep devilish voice.

But people are also possessed who display malicious acts of violence like murder and rapist. Satan’s “fruit of His spirit” is STEAL, KILL, DESTROY. He is perverted, vile and nasty. He lies and deceives. This whole world is full of demon possessed people who allow Satan to use their body to commit these heinous acts. Prisons are full of demonic possessed people. The streets of drug addicts and prostitutes are full of demon possessed people. Many homosexuals are possessed by demonic spirits causing them to act in an unnatural way.

Many demon possessed people are functioning in today’s society. They proudly display their mental illness and demonic behavior, but today in 2022 instead of getting them the mental, emotional and spiritual help they need, society just labels them as normal.

If Jesus were here today, He would be calling it what it is and casting out demons. He would have lines a mile long. So many people in society are possessed and oppressed with demonic spirits and are walking among us as ordinary people. That should be the mission of Christians today. We are supposed to be carrying on the work that Jesus did. We are here to do the work of God just like Jesus did and that includes casting out demons. Christians must take a stand for biblical principals and behavior. We have to stop excusing people for acting crazy. You can’t be shy and back down from the lies and aggression of Satan. He’s powerless against a Christian child of God. Society needs us. Your family needs you.

If you have been called to pray for people you need to be aware of this. People cannot be healed physically, mentally or emotionally by God until they are first released from their demons and forgiven of their sins. Do not be too quick to lay your hands on someone until you are prayed up and know what you’re dealing with.

Not everyone will act like a lunatic. Some people are calm but just perverse and nasty. Whatever the case NEVER pray for anyone until you seek God’s direction and follow it. God will reveal to you what to pray for about people and how to approach them.

Below is a list of a few scriptures about casting out demons.

Mark 3:15, “….and to have authority to cast out the demons.

Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Mark 16:17, “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;

Luke 11:20, “But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Matthew 17:18-21 Living Bible, “ Then Jesus rebuked the demon in the boy and it left him, and from that moment the boy was well. Afterwards the disciples asked Jesus privately, “Why couldn’t we cast that demon out?” Because of your little faith,” Jesus told them. “For if you had faith even as small as a tiny mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would go far away. Nothing would be impossible. But this kind of demon won’t leave unless you have prayed and gone without food.”

Acts 19:16, “And the man, in whom was the evil spirit, leaped on them and subdued all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

Matthew 7:22, “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’

Matthew 17:18, “And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was cured at once.

Luke 11:14,”And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed.

Acts 19:15, “And the evil spirit answered and said to them, “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?”

Luke 9:1, “And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases.

Mark 1:39, “And He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out the demons.

Matthew 8:31The demons began to entreat Him, saying, “If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine.”

Luke 9:49, “John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us.”

Mark 9:38, “John said to Him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.”

Matthew 17:21, “[But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”]

Mark 6:13, “And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.

Acts 19:13, “But also some of the Jewish exorcists, who went from place to place, attempted to name over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, “I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”

Luke 8:2, “and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,

Matthew 10:1, “Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

Luke 8:30, “And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion”; for many demons had entered him.

Luke 10:17, “The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

Matthew 8:16 , “When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon- possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.

Luke 4:33, “In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

Luke 10:20, “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”

Matthew 12:45, “Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.”

Luke 11:26, “Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.”

Acts 8:7 , “For in the case of many who had unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed.

Luke 8:33, “And the demons came out of the man and entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.

Matthew 9:33, “After the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

Revelation 16:14, “for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.

Luke 11:24, “When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’

Luke 10:19, “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.

Any talking spirit that will not confess that Jesus is Lord is a lying devilish spirit. If you are ever in a situation you are not sure of tell the person to say Jesus is Lord so you know what you are dealing with. Don’t sit and have a conversation with an audible spirit. God does not speak to us in an audible voice. So if someone is speaking to you just rebuke it and send it back to Hell in JESUS NAME.

1 John 4:1-4, “ King James Version, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

PRAYER PERMISSION

Before you pray for other people, you have to make sure they are comfortable with you praying for them. Ask their permission to pray for them.

Jesus never laid hands on anyone or healed anyone until He was asked. People will not get healed if they are resistant to it. You cannot force the spirit of God on anyone. They have to choose Him.

They have to surrender their will and believe in Jesus as the HEALER before they can be healed.

Read them the prayer promise and instructions from God from the bible so they understand it is GOD’S WILL FOR THEM TO BE HEALED AND HELPED.

Make sure they are ok with the prayer process EVEN IF THEY ASK YOU TO PRAY FOR THEM. Some people are ignorant of biblical prayer procedures. They only know what they’ve seen on TV or seen other people do. They have to be educated before you begin or they could become offended. Especially in today’s generation. And if someone gets offended by you or the prayer, they won’t receive the miracle, no matter how much you pray for them.

When I hear God tell me to pray for someone, I go to them and ask if there is something, I could pray for them about.

Sometimes they are not a Christian and need to pray the sinner’s prayer for salvation.

Then I ask them if I can hold their hand or lay hands on them. Pray the promise of God’s deliverance and ask it in Jesus name.

Sometimes God will instruct me to anoint them with oil and pray.
Many times, when I begin to pray for someone the spirit of God comes upon me to pray in tongues.

Always thank God for the miracle.

It may be an instant response or it might take a little time. Just start thanking Him for the help like you already have it. NEVER speak against your answer no matter what anyone else says or what things might look like. God never fails His children.

If you feel you need more power, then seek prayer from another Christian to agree with you and pray with you. God says “when there are two or more praying He is in the middle of them.”

Now what should your prayer posture be? Follow Jesus instructions and example.

If you are praying to God alone, just find a quiet place and start talking. You can get on your knees or just sit down and talk. If you are praying for someone else, I just follow whatever they are comfortable with. If they want privacy, if they want to kneel, stand or sit. It doesn’t matter. There is no set procedure.

God always hears the prayers of His children. In fact He knows what you’re in need of before you even ask. But God waits for you to ask.

Even when Jesus was here on Earth, He could read peoples minds and knew what they were in need of BEFORE they asked. But He always said, “what would you have Me do for you.” He made them ask.

I get up every morning and start talking to God. I start my day out in prayer usually before I even get out of bed. I pray for my children and whatever my needs are. I pray for others that God puts on my heart. I talk to God all day. He speaks to me, comforts me and counsels me at all times. At night before bed, I pray again thanking Him for the day. The next day I get up and do it again.

Jesus daily separated Himself from people and His disciples and would go off alone to pray with His Father privately first. Then He would join His disciples to pray and set out to pray for others in need. That was His daily street ministry.

Matthew 14:23, “After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.

Luke 6:12, “It was at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God

Mark 1:35, “In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.

Luke 5:16, “But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

Jesus instructs us to also separate ourselves from others to a private place to pray to our Father one on one. In bible days people had special rooms or closets in their house to pray.

Matthew 6:6, “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Jewish people have a prayer shawl that they cover their heads to pray to God in private. It is called a tallit. It is their custom. Even Jesus used a tallit because He was Jewish. But God hears the heart- felt prayer of all His children whether you use a prayer shawl or not.

Deuteronomy 22:12, “Make tassels for yourselves on the four corners of the garment with which you cover yourself. “

I’ve had people ask me about a specific formula for prayer. God does not have a specific formula that He expects us to do every time. That’s why you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit of God before you pray. God just wants every prayer to be honest, sincere and heartfelt.

James 5:15-16 Amplified Bible , “and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

1 Peter 3:12, “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Many religions have traditional formulas, but God does not. God wants us to be sincere and inten- tional. God needs us to release our faith in Him every time we pray.

When Jesus prayed He did not do a specific procedure or formula each time. Jesus was led by God for the procedure. God looks deep into our soul to see the root of our problem. And deals with that before He can heal.

Jesus and the apostles did many things or required others to do things that people would be totally offended by today.

He spit on the ground and put that spit and mud on a blind mans eyes.

John 9:6-7 Living Bible , “Then he spat on the ground and made mud from the spittle and smoothed the mud over the blind man’s eyes, 7 and told him, “Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam” (the word Siloam means “Sent”). So the man went where he was sent and washed and came back seeing

He told a king to go swim in a muddy river. But the king had pride and vanity and was offended at the instructions. He expected to be prayed for an treated a certain way because he was a king. But pride and vanity can hinder your prayer, so God had to deal with that issue as well.

2 Kings 5:10-15 Living Bible Elisha sent a messenger out to tell him to go and wash in the Jordan River seven times and he would be healed of every trace of his leprosy! But Naaman was angry and stalked away. “Look,” he said, “I thought at least he would come out and talk to me! I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call upon the name of the Lord his God and heal me! Aren’t the Abana River and Pharpar River of Damascus better than all the rivers of Israel put together? If it’s rivers I need, I’ll wash at home and get rid of my leprosy.” So he went away in a rage. But his officers tried to reason with him and said, “If the prophet had told you to do some great thing, wouldn’t you have done it? So you should certainly obey him when he says simply to go and wash and be cured!” So Naaman went down to the Jordan River and dipped himself seven times, as the prophet had told him to. And his flesh became as healthy as a little child’s, and he was healed! Then he and his entire party went back to find the prophet; they stood humbly before him and Naaman said, “I know at last that there is no God in all the world except in Israel; now please accept my gifts.”

Elisha literally laid his whole body on top of a young child who had died, and they were raised from the dead.

2 Kings 4:32-35 Living Bible, “ When Elisha arrived, the child was indeed dead, lying there upon the prophet’s bed. He went in and shut the door behind him and prayed to the Lord. Then he lay upon the child’s body, placing his mouth upon the child’s mouth, and his eyes upon the child’s eyes, and his hands upon the child’s hands. And the child’s body began to grow warm again! Then the prophet went down and walked back and forth in the house a few times; returning upstairs, he stretched himself again upon the child. This time the little boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes!

People would no doubt be terribly offended by this procedure today in 2022. But if you need a healing you must follow the instructions of the spirit of God. There is no place for offense and pride.

There are many other examples of prayer or how to pray in the bible but not one is a law or required. God alone knows the heart of the person you are praying for. God is interested in a total deep healing. So follow His instructions because HE KNOWS BEST.

However one specific method of praying for others was “lay hands on the person” you are praying for.

Jesus instructed His apostles to “lay hands” on the sick when they went out to pray as well. What does that mean? You just reach out and touch them and then pray for them with your heart and spirit.

Mark 5:23, “and begged anxiously with Him, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death; [please] come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will be healed and live.”

Mark 8:23, “Taking the blind man by the hand, He led him out of the village; and after spitting on his eyes and laying His hands on him, He asked him, “Do you see anything?”

Luke 4:40, “While the sun was setting [marking the end of the Sabbath day], all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Jesus; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them [exhibiting His authority as Messiah].

Acts 28:8, “And it happened that the father of Publius was sick [in bed] with recurring attacks of fever and dysentery; and Paul went to him, and after he had prayed, he laid his hands on him and healed him.

I want to remind you again, today in 2022, you need to ask people if you can touch them before you start laying hands on them. Especially people who don’t know their bible very well. They may think you’re just being weird with them if you don’t explain yourself first. But touching people or laying hands on people when you pray for them is instructed by God for His children to do when praying for them.

The purpose of laying hands on someone is because spirits and the power of God can be transferred from one person to another by touch. When a righteous person possessing the spirit of God prays and touches someone that spirit is transferred to destroy the work of Satan in their life.

Example…You’re praying for headaches or a mind problem. You lay hands on the persons head and pray the promise of God to heal.

You do the same thing with any other part of their body. YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT TOUCH PEOPLES PRIVATE AREAS. That’s not appropriate. God will never tell you to do that. If someone is having an emotional or heartache problem, lay hands on their chest over their heart. When you feel someone is emotionally weak, I touch their head, chest and arms and ask for God’s strength to enter them and make them strong and stable. Especially when praying for men, I lay hands on their arms because when men feel strong in their arms they feel strong all over.

If you are praying for financial problems, you can hold their hand or hold their checkbook and wallet, while praying. People work with their hands to make their money, so holding their hand seems appropriate for this kind of prayer.

When you touch someone with your spirit, it is a deliberate action. You’re not just nonchalantly touching people. Its with purpose and an expected result. You are sending your spirit to them or you are touching them with an intention of them receiving your heart felt spirit.

Spirits are transferrable when we touch someone. Our godly spirit will defeat a demonic spirit from anyone we touch physically and touch with our heart and soul. A broken heart, oppression, depression are all emotional spirits that can be overcome and healed by the spirit of God.

Our other weapon to fight with in the spirit is the word of God and the name of Jesus. Every knee and evil spirit must bow and back off from the Holy Spirit of God or they will be destroyed.

Romans 14:11-12 Living Bible, “ For it is written, “As I live,” says the Lord, “every knee shall bow to me and every tongue confess to God.” Yes, each of us will give an account of himself to God.

We can release the spirit of God inside of us to others. That’s one of the purposes to having the indwelling totally immersed spirit of God upon us. We don’t just keep it to ourselves, we share it with those around us who may be in need. When we do that the love of God is shared from person to person. That’s why when people are hurting just a simple hug can make them feel better.

There was a woman in the bible who needed a miracle. She heard Jesus was in town. Her heart and mind was set on getting to Jesus and at least just be able to touch His clothes. She knew Jesus was the Son of God and even touching His clothes held the power of God. When she found Him she was able to get close enough to reached out and touch His clothes. She was healed. Her faith in the power and presence of God that SHE KNEW JESUS POSSESSED, healed her.

If you or the person you’re praying for does not feel comfortable with laying on of hands then don’t do it. They will not get their prayer answered if they are offended by the procedure.

Even Jesus did not heal every person because they were offended by Him and did not have faith in Him.

Mark 6:5, “And He could not do a miracle there at all [because of their unbelief] except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.

ANOINT WITH OIL

Our other weapon is holy water or holy oil that has been prayed over. It serves as a transporter of the spirit of God.

If someone is very sick, the bible tells us to anoint with oil. This oil is extra virgin olive oil that has been prayed over and blessed. The purpose of the oil is the same process of laying on of hands.

The oil carries the anointing or power of the holy spirit and the oil transfers that to the person you’re praying for.

Exodus 30:25, “And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.

Exodus 30:31, “And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.

Mark 6:13, “And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

Luke 7:46, “My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

Hebrews 1:9, “Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

James 5:14, “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

TRANSFER THE ANOINTING

People with the gift of healing, like Paul and the apostles, were able to transfer the spirit and power of God to pieces of cloth or handkerchiefs and when the sick touched it they were healed.

Acts 19:12, “so that even handkerchiefs or face-towels or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out [of them].

The spirit and anointing of God is tangible and transferable, that even your clothes can carry the power of God.

Jesus was walking through a crowd of people. There were multitudes of people touching Him ran- domly. But one woman who had been ill for years was trying to get close to Jesus for healing. He got close enough to touch His clothes and was healed.

Luke 8:43-48 Amplified Bible, “And a woman who had [suffered from] a hemorrhage for twelve years [and had spent all her money on physicians], and could not be healed by anyone came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His outer robe, and immediately her bleeding stopped. Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” While they all were denying it, Peter [and those who were with him] said, “Master, the people are crowding and pushing against You!” But Jesus said, “Someone did touch Me, because I was aware that power [to heal] had gone out of Me.” When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came up trembling and fell down before Him. She declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith [your personal trust and confi- dence in Me] has made you well. Go in peace (untroubled, undisturbed well-being).”

Her heart and mind was set on getting to Jesus and at least just be able to touch His clothes. She knew Jesus was the Son of God and even touching His clothes held the power of God. When she found Him she was able to get close enough to reached out and touch His clothes. She was healed. Her faith in the power and presence of God that SHE KNEW JESUS POSSESSED, healed her.

Some ministries today will gather a team of people together to pray over pieces of material and then send them out to people who are unable to travel to the ministry to get someone to lay hands on them. There has been people healed by this process.

PRAY IN THE SPIRIT……….TONGUES

Sometime God may impress you to pray for someone but you’re not quite sure what to pray for. In that case you can pray in tongues. Praying in tongues is when the spirit comes upon you and you begin to talk to God in an unknown language. It is a conversation between you and God about a situation.

I pray in tongues all the time. Most of the time I begin to pray in English and then the spirit of God comes upon me and I begin to speak in another language. That is something you can’t make happen. It is a prayer language between you and God. When the Holy Spirit of God needs you to pray specific words He will speak through your voice to release that power and command.

Romans 8:26 says–“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” When the saints are so burdened and not able to express fully what is con- ceived in their minds, Holy Spirit stirs up speechless groans which are unutterable, ardent, and fervent to express their deepest emotions.

Mark 16:17, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Acts 2:4, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance

1 Corinthians 14:23, “If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

1 Corinthians 14:39, “Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Sometime you need to pray for someone but they are not around you. All you have to do is speak the word and promise and claim the prayer for that person. There is no distance in prayer with God. You can send a heartfelt prayer to God for a loved one and God will touch them and answer your prayer. Moms of children in the military should do this everyday for their children.

God watches over His word and His promises to fullfill them in the lives of those who believe. God can not lie. So if He promised something then He will do it, IF YOU BELIEVE IT.

Psalm 107:20, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction

God’s promises have supernatural power when we believe them and put voice to them. Just having a bible around is not enough. GOD’S PROMISES HAVE POWER ONLY WHEN THE WORDS ARE SPOKEN IN FAITH. No matter what your issues are, God has a promise to heal.

Every situation and circumstance may be different. Just let the spirit of God lead you and do whatever He tells you to do.

There are many stories in the bible where God used people to pray for others and deliver healing. They each all had different procedures. Elijah, Elisha, Moses, the disciples, Jesus , all prayed for people and followed the instructions of God for the procedure.

The core to every prayer is that a righteous person is in communication with God and asking for His help for the person you are praying for. You have a Godly love and compassionate interest for the person you are praying for. You are feeling sympathy for them. You are wanting to see them alleviated from their pain and suffering. You allow God to take all that love and compassion that He has for the person and the love and compassion you have for the person to flow through you to them.

James 5:16, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Your words in a prayer is very important but you are actually praying from your heart and soul. Its not just words. Its sincere emotion that you feel for the person and you are asking God to help them. You feel very sorry for them that they are in physical or emotional pain and distress. You are investing your emotion, your concern, your sympathy into their situation. So we ask God to pour out His healing, comfort, peace, blessing and provision.

Some people are tormented with fear and anxiety. God can take away that negative spirit. Some are oppressed with depression or sorrow. God knows how to heal that emotion.

Some people will not have any connection with God unless you decide to pray for them and lay their problem at the throne of God. God is willing to help anyone in need even if our terrible sit- uation is all our fault. BUT HE NEVER JUST STEPS IN. HE MUST BE ASKED AND INVITED.

God does not hear the prayers of those who are holding sin in their hearts and practicing sin every day. SIN SEPARATES YOU FROM GOD. Sin puts a wall between you and God.

Psalm 66:18, “If I regard sin and baseness in my heart [that is, if I know it is there and do nothing about it], The Lord will not hear [me];”

Get the sin out of your life and keep the sin out of your life so you can have a transparent loving relationship with God. YOU NEED GOD. Don’t do anything to hinder your communication and relationship with Him.

Talk to God about everything. If its important to you its important to Him. He cares about every decision and circumstance you encounter on a daily basis. So just keep your communion open at all times. He made you he knows what you need and what you desire.

Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart

If you are asking for some desire in your heart that GOD KNOWS is not right or good, He will not answer your prayer and He will cause the desire in your heart to change to what is right.

God is also very aware of everything going on in the world and in your individual life. Nothing is going to shock Him or catch Him off guard. He is already well aware of the truth and circumstances and He has ALREADY prepared an answer and solution to the problem.

When you need help or you’re hurting He knows about it. But God ALWAYS respects your free will. If you want to suffer and not ask for help he lets you. If you want to try to solve it yourself, He lets you. All the crying begging and temper tantrum you can express WILL NOT MOVE THE HAND OF GOD.

God is moved by our faith in Him. Our faith is believing God loves me and knows what’s best for me. I must have faith that God already has a plan and is working me toward that end result. His Holy Spirit inside of me is leading me step by step down the path to fulfil the plan GOD ALREADY HAS ARRANGED FOR ME.

God is your EVERYTHING. He has an sewer and a solution for anything you may be experiencing. He loves you with all He has and wants you healed and happy.

Read your bible. Learn the promises and will of God. If God did anything for anyone in the bible HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU TOO. NOTHING IS TOO HARD OR IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD.

If you don’t know the Father, then you will not have the privilege of sitting in on His conversations and family meetings. Only God knows the exact day and hour of the rapture. Heaven has it’s own calendar and clock. God is going by His clock and calendar in Heaven, not the world’s. God is willing to reveal a time to us that is true to everyone at the same time. In fact He said there were things He was keeping secret from the world till the end, then all things would be revealed to HIS CHILDREN that had been kept secret.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Mark 4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

Luke 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

I saw a cute movie once “Down to Earth”, about a man who died and was given the chance to come back to earth in a different body. He kept trying to be in relationship with people in his previous life, but he kept changing bodies. People who really knew him finally figured out who he was because they knew his spirit man no matter what body he was in. It was a crazy, purely fictional movie, but you understand what I’m saying. Your flesh and blood body is not the real you. YOUR SPIRIT IS THE REAL YOU. The real you is invisible.

God is a spirit. We must learn to communicate and relate to Him spirit to spirit. God is invisible so you can not have a relationship with or worship anything material and physical BECAUSE GOD IS NOT PHYSICAL OR MATERIAL.

Having a conversation with God is a spiritual experience. You WILL NOT HEAR HIM WITH YOUR NATURAL EARS. Explaining this in words is next to impossible. Once you are filled with the spirit of God you will be able to hear Him and experience Him in your spirit.

Receiving the Holy Spirit so you can have a relationship and a conversation with God is vitally important to the success of your everyday life. As a born-again Christian your spirit is now attached to God’s spirit and you are a completely different person inside.

Having a conversation with Almighty God changes your life. There is no way you can be in the presence of the King of Kings and not be changed. Just ONE WORD from God can actually change your life forever. One face to face encounter and conversation can change your life forever. If you are committed to surrendering your soul and spirit to the spirit of God that is within you, you will quickly become JUST LIKE JESUS, which is the ultimate ambition of every child of God.

Philippians 3:8-11 Living Bible, “Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have put aside all else, counting it worth less than nothing, in order that I can have Christ, ⁹and become one with him, no longer counting on being saved by being good enough or by obeying God’s laws, but by trusting Christ to save me; for God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith—counting on Christ alone. ¹⁰Now I have given up everything else—I have found it to be the only way to really know Christ and to experience the mighty power that brought him back to life again, and to find out what it means to suffer and to die with him. ¹¹So whatever it takes, I will be one who lives in the fresh newness of life of those who are alive from the dead.

Holy Spirit OF GOD

1 Corinthians 13:12, “In the same way, we can see and understand only a little about God now, as if we were peering at his reflection in a poor mirror; but someday we are going to see him in his completeness, face-to-face. Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then I will see everything clearly, just as clearly as God sees into my heart right now.

God will not completely invade your life and immerse you in His spirit all at once. YOUR human body could not handle it. God reveals Himself to us one step at a time, from one glory to another.

2 Corinthians 3:18 Living Bible, “But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him.

I covered in detail in the previous chapter about the indwelling of the Spirit and the baptism of the spirit. Now you need to focus on recognizing and responding to the voice of the Holy Spirit of God that is inside of you.

I hope you understand the importance of this Father/child relationship, especially in these last days. The Holy Spirit is your invisible friend, your body guard, your counselor, your banker, your therapist, your life coach. JUST BECAUSE HE IS INVISIBLE DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NOT WITH YOU EVERYWHERE YOU GO. JUST BECAUSE HE IS INVISIBLE DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NOT CAPABLE OF OVERPOWERING ANYTHING OR ANYONE THAT TRIES TO COME AGAINST YOU. YOU MUST BELIEVE IN THE POWERFUL SUPERNATURAL FORCE OF GOD THAT IS WITH YOU AND SURROUNDING YOU AT ALL TIMES, AS A CHILD OF GOD.

God is the ONLY ONE with all your answers. God is the ONLY ONE who knows the future. God is the ONLY ONE who has a specific life plan already arranged for you. So, talking to Him constantly is important to your life. Finding out “inside information” that no one else knows is important to your survival right now today. No one knows you better than God and He knows what you need to be happy, healthy and safe in this world.

Proverbs 3:6, “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path.”

The Holy Spirit of God is God in you and with you. He talks to us and leads His children every day if we are talking to Him and depending on Him.

Romans 8:14 Living Bible, “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

This is a reality you have to train yourself to. You have to reprogram your brain to this truth. If you don’t Satan will use your lack of confidence in your identity as a child of God against you.

The Holy Spirit is invisible but HE IS ALIVE, HE IS REAL, HE IS RIGHT WITH YOU EVERYWHERE YOU GO. The Holy Spirit is that invisible supernatural armor that surrounds your body. The bible says HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU after you are born again.

Romans 8:38-39 King James Version, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 13:5 Amplified Bible, “Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”

Without the Holy Spirit of God you cannot achieve or obtain the things God has for you. Your relationship with God uncovers His plan for you and your gifts and talents to achieve it.

THE BEST LIFE THAT GOD HAS PLANNED FOR YOU IS UNOBTAINABLE IF GOD IS NOT WITH YOU.

You will not KNOW the things God wants you to Know or be able to cooperate with the plan He has for you to get there, if you are not communicating with Him everyday.

Jeremiah 29:11-12 Living Bible, “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. ¹²In those days when you pray, I will listen.

Now that you possess the Holy Spirit, you have a new responsibility and position in this world and throughout eternity. YOU ARE NOW A CHILD OF GOD AND YOU NOW POSSESS THE AUTHORITY OF GOD. God gives you the privilege now and the POWER to live life in this world using His name and speaking His authority.

Jesus NEVER ask God to fix a problem and heal people. JESUS SPOKE WITH THE AUTHORITY OF GOD AND COMMANDED CIRCUMSTANCES TO ALIGN WITH THE WILL OF GOD. It is God’s will that EVERYONE BE HEALED and BLESSED. We don’t need to ask God’s will about that. He already said it in the bible.

3 John 2-3 King James Version, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

That’s why it’s important to read your bible so God can reveal His will to you.

Every time you sit down and read your King James bible, YOU ARE HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH GOD. The bible is God talking to you so take it seriously.

We as children of God are not waiting for God to do something to help us in our life. As a spirit filled child of God, God has already agreed to GIVE US everything we need and want in this world. God has already given us authority and power over Satan and our enemies, in Jesus name. JUST BELIEVE IT AND SPEAK IT. The Holy Spirit IN US, will do whatever WE SAY and whatever WE BELIEVE, as long as we ask in the authority of Jesus name and can back it up in scripture.

Satan and the demons know to back off when the name of Jesus is used with authority and power.

Romans 14:11. “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Philippians 2:10, That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

By NO OTHER NAME will Satan and the demons be destroyed. But if you do not KNOW WHO YOU ARE, A POWERFUL CHILD OF GOD, REPRESENTING GOD, then Satan and the demons will not listen to you.

Acts 19:15-16 Living Bible, “But when they tried it on a man possessed by a demon, the demon replied, “I know Jesus and I know Paul, but who are you?” ¹⁶And he leaped on two of them and beat them up, so that they fled out of his house naked and badly injured.

If you don’t know that you are a child of God with the authority to act like and speak on HIS BEHALF, then Satan and the demons will kick your butt. You have to KNOW that no weapon formed against you will prosper. You have to KNOW that the supernatural power and spirit of God resides with you and is more powerful than anything else that exist. That power is released when you need it.

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILTY after you accept Jesus as Savior, to spend as much time as you can reading your bible, talking to God and allowing Him to talk to you. YOU MUST GET FAMILIAR WITH HIS VOICE. You must be able to differentiate between God and the other voices around you and in you.

Remember when you read your bible, THAT IS ALSO GOD SPEAKING TO YOU. The King James bible is God’s written will and testament to you personally. It is a legal contract and covenant that God will not break. Every child of God has the same inheritance and blessing. God has the same expectancy from ALL OF HIS CHILDREN. God wants the same loving relationship with ALL OF HIS CHILDREN.

When God first talks to you, He will most likely speak to you through bible verses. Even if you have not studied your bible enough to know what it says, when God speaks to you in your inner spirit, it will be a bible verse. You can pray and ask for God’s wisdom about something you are going through and you will be reminded of a bible story or a bible verse that answers your question. Because God speaks to you through the bible, YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT IT SAYS. So read it. Then you will recognize it when it comes to you.

When God speaks to you, it is a quiet voice that you hear inside. Practice this while you are home alone with no distractions. Talk to God quietly in your own spirit as well and allow Him to answer.

I have been filled and baptized in the Holy Spirit for over 40 years. I speak in tongues and KNOW that God speaks to me. I have learned His voice. BUT I HAVE NEVER HEARD AN AUDIBLE VOICE FROM GOD. I speak out loud to God. I hear my own audible voice, BUT GOD HAS NEVER SPOKEN TO ME OR ANSWERED ME IN AN AUDIBLE VOICE. It is a quiet inner voice inside my heart and soul.

I’ve heard people say that God has spoken to them in an audible voice. But I don’t believe God regularly speaks to people in an audible thundering voice from Heaven. He WANTS US TO LEARN HIS INNER VOICE. BUT…..if you do hear a audible voice that you think is from God, then the bible says test the spirit to make sure. Make the speaking voice says, “Jesus Christ is Lord, came in the flesh and now lives at the right hand of God.”

1 John 4:1-6 Amplified Bible, “Testing the Spirits, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. ²By this you know and recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ has [actually] come in the flesh [as a man] is from God [God is its source]; ³and every spirit that does not confess Jesus [acknowledging that He has come in the flesh, but would deny any of the Son’s true nature] is not of God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is now already in the world. ⁴Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. ⁵They [who teach twisted doctrine] are of the world and belong to it; therefore they speak from the [viewpoint of the] world [with its immoral freedom and baseless theories—demanding compliance with their opinions and ridiculing the values of the upright], and the [gullible one of the] world listens closely and pays attention to them. ⁶We [who teach God’s word] are from God [energized by the Holy Spirit], and whoever knows God [through personal experience] listens to us [and has a deeper understanding of Him]. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know [without any doubt] the spirit of truth [motivated by God] and the spirit of error [motivated by Satan].

If you know someone is habitually practicing sin in their life, even though they may say they are a Christian and go to church, don’t believe them when they say they have a word from God for you because GOD WILL NOT SEND A SINFUL PERSON TO GIVE YOU A MESSAGE FROM HIM.

1 John 3:23-24 Amplified Bible, “This is His commandment, that we believe [with personal faith and confident trust] in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and [that we unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, just as He commanded us. ²⁴The one who habitually keeps His commandments [obeying His word and following His precepts, abides and] remains in Him, and He in him. By this we know and have the proof that He [really] abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us [as a gift].

God’s conversations to us are constructive, loving and edifying. God corrects from a point of love, HE NEVER CONDEMNS AND INSULTS YOU AS A PERSON.

A conversation is a two-way exchange. You speak to God either quietly in your spirit or an audible voice. But God will speak back to you quietly in your spirit. Don’t do all the talking. Be quiet in your spirit and with your verbal voice. Give reverence to God and allow Him to talk to you. If you are verbally talking, your ears can only hear what your voice is saying. You are not listening to the conversation in your spirit. Get to a quiet uninterrupted place with no noise and distractions and LISTEN TO GOD IN YOUR SPIRIT. Again, God is invisible. His voice is not audible. Listen to Him with your spirit man and your spiritual ears .

John 4:24, “God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

The more you practice this and learn to distinguish God’s voice the quicker you can hear Him and respond to Him. I have learned God’s voice pretty well now and even in the middle of other people talking I can hear and distinguish God’s voice from others. However, I still KNOW I need to separate myself on a regular basis to hear from God one on one with no distractions.

Many times I sit quietly in my bedroom and just picture myself in my mind sitting or kneeling at the feet of Jesus. Then I just tell Him how much I love Him and how grateful I am to have Him as my Father. No verbal words need to be spoken all the time. God knows your thoughts.

Mathew 9:4, “….the scribes didn’t say anything; they were only “said to themselves…But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, ‘Why do you think evil in your hearts’”

Psalm 139, “Lord, you have examined me and know all about me.You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know my thoughts before I think them. You know where I go and where I lie down. You know everything I do. Lord, even before I say a word, you already know it. You are all around me—in front and in back— and have put your hand on me. Your knowledge is amazing to me; it is more than I can understand.

God hears your inner voice calling out to Him. In your mind. Say I love you over and over again in your heart and mind. No one can hear you BUT GOD CAN. In the same way you can hear your own inner words, you’ll be able to hear God speaking to you in the same way.

Your inner voice is just as strong and loud in the ears of God as your audible voice. That’s another reason why you have to discipline yourself to think on good things because GOD IS LISTENING TO ALL THAT TALK GOING ON INSIDE OF YOU.

The more time you practice this and sit in God’s presence, the more familiar you get with God’s voice. Soon you’ll be shopping, working or doing some daily chore and you’ll hear God speak to you about something. You’ll immediately be able to distinguish His voice from other voices around you, because you have been having conversations together in private. You will recognize His voice in your soul, no matter how much noise your ears may be hearing.

I count on God being my constant companion and counselor. I count on His leadership to help me make good choices. He is my negotiator when I need to close a deal or make a life changing decision about life or business. I count on Him giving me inside information and revealing to me how to respond to people around me. I count on Him telling me how to deal with my spouse or my children. I count on God telling me the truth about situations even if I have 10 people in front of me telling me lies. I count on God working all things out for my good no matter what is going on around me or what meanness is being planned against me.

You need God as well. You need His input into your life and daily circumstances.

This world is so wicked right now, WE NEED GOD EVERYDAY, ALL DAY. You must be able to talk to God and hear Him talking to you. You need to know God’s action plan for you. You need to know God’s will in your life, then go out and live it and do it.

Unless you SPEAK the authority of God in your life, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.

When I was young, my Dad had a construction business. Myself and my two brothers worked for my Dad. Every morning, we would have company meetings and get my Dads counsel and instructions for the work that we were doing that day. When we left that meeting myself and my brothers KNEW WE COULD GO TO THE JOBS AND SPEAK MY DADS WILL AND EXPECT THEM TO LISTEN AND DO WHATEVER WE SAID, “AS IF” MY DAD WAS THERE SPEAKING.

Now, as a child of God, our Heavenly Father sends us out into the world to do His work, speak for Him and carry out the family business of winning souls for Jesus.

Your words have power and creates whatever you say. Your life is a result of the words you speak. Speak life and speak love.

When you receive the Holy Spirit of God, Jesus said, A power is given to you to speak life and blessing into peoples life JUST LIKE JESUS DID. CHRISTIANS ARE NOW CALLED TO CARRY ON THE MINISTRY OF JESUS

Acts 1:8-9 Living Bible, “But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power to testify about me with great effect, to the people in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth, about my death and resurrection.” It was not long afterwards that he rose into the sky and disappeared into a cloud, leaving them staring after him.

What do we do with that power? The same thing Jesus did!

Matthew 10:7-8 Living Bible, “Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near.^[^a^] ⁸Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure the lepers, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!

God expects us to live our lives going out in His name as His children and do for others JUST LIKE JESUS DID. God has given us the privilege to be HIS CHILD and given us the responsibility and authority to speak life truth and love to everyone around us and see the results happening. We have an inheritance and advantages that come with our relationship with God, that the world CAN NOT take from us. We have the free will choice to take that power and authority from God and make our life and the lives of those around us blessed.

While we are doing life, speaking like God, thinking like God and behaving like God, keep in mind you’re not God. Don’t let Satan deceive you thinking you are more than you are.

Romans 12:3 Amplified Bible, “For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose designed for service].

Just because you have mastered the ability and learned to exercise your privilege of talking to God, don’t look down on those who have not yet reached that level. Don’t think you are better or more loved by God because you can hear God’s voice better than others.

Sometimes all that power, money and authority can go to our heads and cause us to step out of God’s will. God does not like pride and arrogance. Before you became wealthy or famous or powerful, you were probably in a more humble state of mind. Thats the person God blessed. But now that you have obtained the blessing from God, you forget where you came from.

Romans 12:3-5 Living Bible, “As God’s messenger I give each of you God’s warning: Be honest in your estimate of yourselves, measuring your value by how much faith God has given you. ^4-5Just as there are many parts to our bodies, so it is with Christ’s body. We are all parts of it, and it takes every one of us to make it complete, for we each have different work to do. So we belong to each other, and each needs all the others.

John 15:5 Living Bible, “Yes, I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit. For apart from me you can’t do a thing.

John 14:10 Living Bible, “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I say are not my own but are from my Father who lives in me. And he does his work through me.

God’s will is for us to stay in peace, walk in love, and keep a great attitude no matter what is going on around us. God’s will is for His children to hold NO UNFORGIVENESS or OFFENSE against others who may not be having a harmonious agreeable attitude with us. But if we can stay humble and realize it’s all God in us and not us that’s so great we will do well in life. God pours Himself out upon the humble not the proud and arrogant.

James 4:6, “But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].”

James 4:10, “Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose].

If we don’t discipline ourselves and keep ourselves in a humble state of mind, God will sometimes allow us to go through circumstances to humble us. God will sometimes sit silent and not respond to us until we get an attitude adjustment. We might walk away from God, but He does not walk away from us. He corrects and disciplines those He loves. He ALWAYS STARTS with your spirit and soul. He just waits for us to return to our senses and come back home to Him.

God loves His children and yes we are royalty because our Father is a King. But God never wants you to think you are better than anyone else or He won’t be able to work through you like it wants. GOD MOVES AND EXPRESSES HIMSELF THROUGH A LOVING HEART. Instead of thinking you’re better than others, God wants you to help others understand how they too can be children of the King and be blessed just like you.

Jesus is not here on Earth anymore. God is expecting His other sons and daughters, you and I, to go forth and act like God and speak like God, like Jesus did. You have the authority in the name of Jesus, to speak a blessing over your children, your family, your town, your business, your country.

Its best that ALL COME TO REPENTANCE AND LIVE FOR GOD, than for there to be offense and division among people.

THE MORE PEACE AND LOVE YOU DISCIPLINE YOURSELF TO AND EXPRESS TO OTHERS, THE MORE GOD WILL TALK TO YOU AND USE YOU TO DELIVER HIS MESSAGES TO OTHERS.

You must realize that now, as a child of God filled with the spirit of God, our Father has given us the privilege to speak and live “as if” God were speaking. We have whatever we say.

Mark 11:23-25 King James Version, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

You have got to train yourself to refer to God at all times and stay in close communication with Him. The Holy Spirit of God is going to warn you about things in the future TODAY, TOMORROW, and throughout your life. He is going to be leading you daily to success and prosperity. He is going to use you to help people. The Holy Spirit is going to help you be a better person, a better spouse, a better mom or Dad. The Holy Spirit is going to help you be the best employee on your job.

Don’t let people who don’t hear God’s voice try to make you feel strange or foolish because YOU DO HEAR FROM GOD. The world of unbelievers are real good and trying to “SHAME” Christians.

I’ve said to people before that “God told me” something, and they have actually laughed and ridiculed me. They tried to make me feel foolish for saying God talks to me. But the truth is, IF GOD IS NOT TALKING TO YOU, THEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. YOU ARE THE FOOLISH ONE. You are the deprived. You are the one outside the circle of God. Every child of God is to be led by the spirit of God and must be able to hear from God and talk to Him. If you are not hearing from God and able to have a conversation with Him, you better check yourself.

John 8:47 Living Bible, “Anyone whose Father is God listens gladly to the words of God. Since you don’t, it proves you aren’t his children.”

Having a conversation with God is not something weird. Its very weird if you are calling yourself a Child of God yet you don’t have conversations with your Father God. NOW THAT’S WEIRD.

The Holy Spirit is a real person that possesses your body when you get born again. That real person, although He’s invisible, can and will talk to you.

The Holy Spirit of God is an invisible SUPERNATURAL PRESENCE AND FORCE that surrounds you and protects you. That means as you go through your day, Satan is trying to hurt you and even kill you. But with the Spirit of God all around you no weapon or fiery darts of attack from Satan can reach you and destroy you. The Holy Spirit is your protecting shield of armor.

The Holy Spirit is that voice inside of you helping you make good, quality decisions. What an absolutely amazing privilege to be able to consult with God about everything we need to make decisions on. God knows the future. He knows the hearts and intentions of every person you are in relationship with. The Holy Spirit will help guide you and help you avoid destructive and failing situations. The Holy Spirit will tell you people to stay away from and eliminate from your life. The Holy Spirit will also draw your heart’s attention to someone that needs to be in your life.

As a child of God, the Holy Spirit is holding your hand all day being your constant companion and friend. YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. As I said earlier, when you need an immediate answer about something you can rely on the Holy Spirit to be right on time and never failing. You don’t have to wait. Nobody else can hear your conversation with God.

Sometimes God will cause you to wait so He can show you a better answer and situation that you may not be recognizing at the moment. When God makes you wait, He is teaching you to trust Him. He may be trying to help you grow spiritually in the area of patience or to humble you. If you need an immediate answer, God has it and will share it. But when He is silent, He wants you to wait and remain silent for a reason. TRUST HIM.

When you make a habit to have a deliberate schedule of prayer, worship and communication with the Holy Spirit, you are putting God first and getting your daily priorities in order for God to be more active and involved in your life.

The Holy Spirit usually speaks to me through a bible verse. Satan knows the bible too and will often take God’s word out of context to try to use it against you. He will tweak it just a little to make it a lie. So be careful to differentiate the voice of God from the voice of Satan. If you are being reminded of a bible verse, get your King James bible out and read the whole passage word for word to make sure you have it clear in your head.

No inward voice or prophetic voice will contradict the written King James bible. If you believe God is talking to you, leading you in a specific situation but that voice is leading you to do something against the word of God then YOU ARE NOT LISTENING TO THE VOICE OF THE ONE TRUE GOD.

Knowing God’s character will help you know His voice.

I had a single friend who told me they thought this certain married person they knew, was supposed to be for them. They felt like God had sent them to this married person. I said NO, GOD IS NOT GOING TO SEND YOU A MARRIED PERSON. God is against divorce. He is not wanting you to step in and cause two people to get divorced, even if they tell you they are having marriage problems and want to be with you too. YOU ARE LISTENING TO THE WRONG VOICE. Of course, they didn’t like that and we don’t talk much anymore because they were offended.

God IS NOT going to speak to you to do something that is against HIS WRITTEN WORD OR HIS LOVING CHARACTER.

If you are a child of God, you can talk to God and God will talk to you. God is your Father. You are His child. He wants you to KNOW HIM. Not just know about Him. The ONLY WAY to KNOW GOD is talk to Him and Him talk to you. You form a relationship. God already KNOWS YOU. He wants you to spend time with Him and get to KNOW HIM.

1 Corinthians 2:8-12 Living Bible, “But the great men of the world have not understood it; if they had, they never would have crucified the Lord of Glory. That is what is meant by the Scriptures which say that no mere man has ever seen, heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has ready for those who love the Lord. ¹⁰But we know about these things because God has sent his Spirit to tell us, and his Spirit searches out and shows us all of God’s deepest secrets. ¹¹No one can really know what anyone else is thinking or what he is really like except that person himself. And no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. ¹²And God has actually given us his Spirit (not the world’s spirit) to tell us about the wonderful free gifts of grace and blessing that God has given us.

God willingly reveals Himself to us as much as we want to KNOW about Him. God shows us His nature, personality and character. The more time we spend in communication with God the more we get to know Him. The more we are in His presence, the more we tend to be like Him.

Colossians 1:9 Living Bible, “So ever since we first heard about you we have kept on praying and asking God to help you understand what he wants you to do; asking him to make you wise about spiritual things;

When you show God by your words and behavior that you are committed to Him and want to cooperate with His will and discipline your life to follow His lead, He will reveal Himself to you more and more and allow you to enjoy all the blessings that He has already put aside for you.

Philippians 3:7-10 Living Bible, “But all these things that I once thought very worthwhile—now I’ve thrown them all away so that I can put my trust and hope in Christ alone. ⁸Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I personally talk to God everyday and allow Him opportunity to talk to me and lead me in things I am involved in in my life. Just a one hour Sunday morning church service is not sufficient to have the deep relationship and friendship with God that He is desiring from His children. It should not be sufficient to the relationship that you want with God either. HE WANTS TO TALK TO US ALL DAY EVERYDAY. He wants you to constantly acknowledge His presence.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 King James Version, “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Jeremiah 33:3 Amplified Bible, “Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’

God wants you to love Him and long to be in His presence, of your own choice. He does not want to make you be with Him and love Him.

God is a good Father. He loves all His children more than you can even imagine. He loves us more than you love your own children.

God is going to be constantly guiding and revealing truth and “things to come” to us so we can prepare for it.

There is so much prophecy being fulfilled right now that God needs His children to be aware of and prepare for. There are a lot of secret meetings and plans going on with our president and the leaders in other countries that are not being shared with the world. But God knows what is being said and planned. God knows the wicked hearts of these world leaders and the direction they are trying to move this world into. Much of this complicated situation you can do nothing about, but you can take certain measures and precautions so you can avoid trouble until the rapture happens.

Just a little one on one talk with God everyday can keep you updated and informed about things that are happening or going to happen. You don’t need CNN or FOX NEWS or any other media source to tell you what is happening and going on. GOD IS YOUR INFORMATION SOURCE. God will tell you things to do in your own everyday life to safeguard you from the shenanigans and deception of our government and evil people around you.

John 16:12-14 Living Bible, “Oh, there is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t understand it now. ¹³When the Holy Spirit, who is truth, comes, he shall guide you into all truth, for he will not be presenting his own ideas, but will be passing on to you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. ¹⁴He shall praise me and bring me great honor by showing you my glory.

This GIFT of being able to talk to God and hearing Him talk to you is absolutely crucial to your life and survival in these last days. YOU HAVE TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND YOU AND THE PRECAUTIONS YOU NEED TO TAKE TO STAY SAFE.

The world will not tell you the truth. The government will not tell you the truth. Your own doctor and therapist and spiritual consultants may not tell you truth. You need to be able to hear the voice of God so GOD HIMSELF can tell you truth and give you an action plan and a solution that YOU NEED for YOUR LIFE.

Again, IF YOU ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR, your spirit will be born again and connected to God. THAT OPENS YOUR SPIRITUAL EARS TO HEAR GOD. That forms the father/child relationship with God so He begins to watch over you and provide for you like ALL GOOD FATHERS DO.

You need to know that God is not holding Himself back from you. HE NEVER DOES THAT. If we are not hearing from God, if we are not receiving a breakthrough for a miracle we are praying for, its NEVER God’s fault. Its our fault. We are allowing too much distraction in our life, we are not spending enough time with God, we are in offense with someone, we are holding unforgiveness inside, we just have an overall bad attitude. We are speaking words AGAINST what we are believing for. We are grumbling and complaining about our life and circumstances. There is known sin in our lives that we refuse to give up.

I could go on and on because ANY WORDS, BEHAVIOR or ATTITUDE THAT YOU EXPRESS THAT IS OPPOSITE FROM THE LOVE OF GOD AND THE KING JAMES BIBLE, will block you from receiving from God.

God does not expect perfection. NO ONE CAN BE PERFECT. But if you keep yourself rooted and grounded from a position of biblical love and you are quick to ask forgiveness when you do mess up, God honors that.

If you are not hearing from God, search yourself and find out why, BECAUSE GOD SPEAKS TO ALL HIS CHILDREN. God is NEVER THE PROBLEM. YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

God’s will is always to love and forgive. That is never an option. You don’t have to discuss it with God. LOVE HEALS ALL, BLESSES ALL, COVERS ALL THINGS. Below is a short list to check yourself.

VOICE BLOCKERS

You must be a child of God’s or you will not have the privilege of talking to Him and Him talking to you. If you don’t belong to God, you will not hear Him talking to you. God is only obligated to HIS CHILDREN. He is loving and waiting for every single one of us to call upon Him, but if we choose to reject Him He allows it and does not communicate with us. You will not have the privilege of sitting in on the “family meetings” with God if you are not part of His family. God is not in a covenant relationship with you if you are not part of His family. You are not entitled to His blessing, protection or healing power, if you are not His child. God will not reject ANYONE who sincerely calls upon Him and chooses to surrender their lives over to Him. BUT YOU MUST ASK HIM TO FORGIVE YOU AND ACCEPT YOU FIRST OR YOU DON”T RECEIVE.
You can not be practicing sinful behavior. God can not be in the presence of sin. READ YOUR BIBLE and find out how God wants you to live. When you receive Jesus as Savior, it is then YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to know what sinful behavior you might have been practicing and then make a commitment to stop it. GOD’S CHILDREN HAVE A REPUTATION AND RESPONSIBILLITY TO ACT LIKE JESUS. You CAN NOT go to church every time the doors open, give to charities and tell everyone you know how to get born again, but in your own life, you are sleeping with people your not married to, you cuss people, drink, lie and cheat. Some people even go to church with their homosexual partners “acting like” they are children of God, but knowing GOD SAID, homosexuals have no part in the Kingdom of God. What kind of twisted bipolar crap is that? But believe it or not many people do it. EVEN CHURCH PEOPLE. God said when you stand before Him and rehearse all your “good deeds” at the judgement, He’s going to say “I NEVER KNEW YOU.” He said He will spew you out of His mouth. God is not going to sit and have a conversation with people who are practicing sin when God has been very clear in the bible what sins you need to STOP DOING. Your sinful behavior and attitude will block God’s voice in your life. CONSIDER YOUR WAYS, if you are not hearing God talk to you, its your fault. Figure out what you are doing wrong then stop doing it.
You are out of the will of God. Rebellion pushes God away from you. Maybe God has called you to do something or help someone or give someone something and you have refused to do it. God hates rebellion. If you know God expects something from you and you refuse to do it, that is rebellion and God will sit silent until you surrender to His will. Yes you have a free will choice to make, but if you know God has given you an assignment and you choose to reject it then don’t expect God to make your dreams come true. God gives you the desires of YOUR HEART as you fulfil the desires of His heart. His heart is loving people, helping people, being generous to people.
If you have any offense or unforgiveness toward someone, you MUST CLEAR THAT UP FIRST, or you will not hear from God. God said we forgive others and then we will be forgiven. Offense and unforgiveness toward other people even people who don’t deserve your forgiveness, is a deal breaker for God. ALL OFFENSES AND UNFORGIVENESS will hinder your communication with God. I have had many people hurt me and offend me and I for sure did not want to forgive them because most of them were not even sorry. So I just pray and say God, “so and so” hurt me. You know they were wrong. I choose to forgive them but I still feel the hurt and pain they caused me. Please help me to forgive and release this pain. Believe it or not, every time I have felt better and was able to move on from offense and unforgiveness. God also requires we pray for our enemies. This is extremely difficult especially if they are not sorry for hurting you. So you pray anyway. God please help “so and so” see the error of their ways and ask YOU for forgiveness. Help them to take responsibility for their actions. I choose to forgive and I pray for my offenders to have a closer relationship with you. Take responsibility for your role in the dispute. Ask God to show you how you can be a better person so this situation does not happen again.
You have an unlovely, rude aggressive personality and attitude. GOD IS LOVE. You must be strong and unwavering on your Godly convictions but not rude and insulting and critical to those around you who do not agree with you. A BAD ATTITUDE WILL DEFINITELY BLOCK GOD’S VOICE FROM YOU.
DO NOT STEP OUT OF YOUR LOVE WALK WITH PEOPLE. The world is full of unbelievers. Christians are surrounded and opposed on every side. Its easy to be offended by those who oppose us just for living a Christian life. But God said, It is not the responsibility of the Christian to MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE. Jesus did not make people believe and we are not supposed to try to make people either. Luke 17 says when we see a brother in error and sin, we should tell them with an attitude of love what God says is right and wrong behavior. If they CHOOSE TO LISTEN, OBEY AND DISCIPLINE THEIR BEHAVIOR, then great. But if they CHOOSE NOT TO, then God says dust the dust off and leave them alone to live whatever life they choose. This is hard when it involves your loved ones, family and close friends, but this is how God wants us to react. We still love them. We still pray for them. We still want the best for them. God also reminded us that we are not to judge others. If you judge and criticize, you will end up being judged and criticized by God and other people. Most of the time you end up acting like the people you judged and criticized.

God gave man a free will so we could have the opportunity to choose Him or reject Him. God wants people to love Him and believe in Him because they want to not because they are forced to. Be kind, be nice, be respectful to others even if they are rude to you. GOD IS LOVE. THE WORLD KNOWS WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN BECAUSE WE LOVE. And we love even our enemies and the unlovable.

DISTRACTIONS will cause you not to hear from God. God will not compete with other people you have on your mind, He will not compete with your cell phone, computer, television. Remove all your distractions and focus ALL YOUR ATTENTION on God and you will hear from Him. If you go to church or even just to a counseling session, you don’t have your kids running around, the tv on. You’re not talking on the phone or playing on your laptop, you’re not sitting there talking to another person beside you and carrying on a conversation. You are sitting quietly, undistracted, focused and listening to everything that is being said to you by the counselor or pastor. They are also listening to you if you have an opportunity to respond to them. If you want God’s attention go to a quiet place and GIVE HIM YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION FIRST. When you draw near to God, HE DRAWS NEAR TO YOU. Show some respect to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is giving you His undivided attention so the very least you could do is give Him your undivided attention.

ANYONE, whether its you or someone who YOU KNOW IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN SINFUL BEHAVIOR, THEY ARE NOT hearing God speak to them. God does not speak with rebellious prideful sinners. The only voice you will hear is REPENT. Anything else is either your own voice or Satan’s voice. GOD REQUIRES A PURE HOLY SPIRIT to converse with. Get the sin out of your life and humble yourself under the mighty hand of God.

God loves you. He wants to help you. He does not want you to suffer. But HE WILL NOT OVERLOOK YOUR SIN AND REBELLION. He gave His Son to lay down His life and be sacrificed for your sins. GOD WAS WILLING TO DO WHATEVER WAS NECESSARY TO HAVE YOU IN HIS FAMILY. Do your part. Receive the gift and act right. Appreciate and be thankful for the salvation that is available to you right now. He wants you to be His child and He wants to be your Father!!

THE WORD

As a Christian your bible needs to be your best friend. It is a life manual that you need to read, learn memorize discipline yourself to and practicing on a regular basis. GOD’S WORD IS YOUR LIFE MANUAL. You live your life by the word of God no matter what. It has the final say about everything in your life.

The written KING JAMES BIBLE is the voice and words of God. Remember I said earlier, that your King James bible is Jesus sitting and having a conversation with you. It is your responsibility to read it, learn it and discipline yourself to do whatever it says whether you feel like it or not.

Schedule deliberate uninterrupted time in the word of God everyday. As a new Christian, I suggest you start with the New testament. Start in the book of Matthew and read all the way through to the end of Revelation. Some of it you may not understand at first, but the more you read and study the deeper your understanding will be. The better you will understand God and your life. After you read it through the first time, start over again and read it through one more time. Do this starting today until the end of your life.

Joshua 1:8, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalm 119:15, “I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.

Psalm 1:1-6, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; …

Psalm 1:2, “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.

Romans 10:17, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Matthew 4:4, “But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’

In the previous chapter we established , THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUTH. All real truth can be confirmed through the written word of God, your King James Bible. If people are telling you something and it goes against what the bible says or can not be confirmed by the bible, REJECT IT. GOD AND HIS WORD IS TRUTH. EVERYONE ELSE IS A LIAR.

1 Timothy 1:8-11 Living Bible, “Those laws are good when used as God intended. ⁹But they were not made for us, whom God has saved; they are for sinners who hate God, have rebellious hearts, curse and swear, attack their fathers and mothers, and murder. ^10-11Yes, these laws are made to identify as sinners all who are immoral and impure: homosexuals, kidnappers, liars, and all others who do things that contradict the glorious Good News of our blessed God, whose messenger I am.

John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Sometimes God might be leading you to a profitable situation but there are people in your lives that don’t see it and are not hearing God speak that same information to them. If you KNOW God is telling you something or revealing something to you, LISTEN TO GOD AND FOLLOW WHATEVER HE SAYS. Make sure you are not letting the voice of Satan distract you either. SATAN DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SUCCEED IN LIFE. Don’t listen to him.

Isaiah 48:17 Amplified Bible, “This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says, I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit (benefit),
Who leads you in the way that you should go.”

For instance, there was a promise in the bible I was believing God for. It would be financially profitable. My husband did not believe the promise was for us. I knew the promise was for me so I kept praying and believing for it. Satan kept sending thoughts to me saying, “if my husband did not believe in agreement with me then I couldn’t have it because we are married and we are one.” Some of that was true. But when I ask God about that, God reminded me of Romans 3:3.

God’s word is truth and it has the last say about everything, if I believe it. I received what I was praying for even though my husband did not believe. God stays true to His promises to whoever believes them.

NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU NOT BELIEVE SOMETHING. NO ONE CAN STOP THE PROMISES OF GOD FROM WORKING IN YOUR LIFE, EXCEPT YOU. If YOU BELIEVE then YOU can have it.

If God has made a promise in the bible ABOUT ANYTHING YOU WANT, then believe God will give it to you. Don’t let the unbelief of others convince you that you can’t have something GOD ALREADY PROMISED you could have.

When you find the promise, God said it is our responsibility to speak it into existence. We say the promise. We decree it. We command it. ALL IN THE NAME OF JESUS, and we Shall have it.

Job 22:27-29 Amplified Bible, ‘You will pray to Him, and He will hear you,

“You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you;
And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways. “When you are cast down and humbled, you will speak with confidence,

As we submit ourselves to our Father God and spend time with Him He becomes more alive to us. He enjoys having a relationship with us. He wants to spend as much time with us as we will allow Him too.

God is willing to allow you as close to Him as you want to be. God is always available and His love is always available to anyone who wants it. God does not hold Himself back from us. OUR SINS, fears, resistance, doubt, unbelief, unworthiness pushes us away from God and builds a wall between us. But God does not move. He wants us to come up higher. I’m sure you’ve heard it said when facing opposition to “take the high road.” Thats where God is. We can choose to not take the high road. But if you want real victory in life, you MUST stay focused on God, love peace and keep your eyes on the high road. He is always listening and looking for those who are willing to surrender themselves 100% to Him and allow Him to make His abode with them.

God loves us with a love so deep and pure that words are unable to describe it. Experiencing this level of love and goodness is what humbles us and causes us to drop to our knees in adoration. His majestic presence overwhelms the fragility of our human bodies. The fullness of God’s love and spirit is consuming. We are not even able to stand before Him completely in these flesh and blood bodies. That experience will be something only our spirit can endure when we see Him face to face in Heaven. But God is willing to allow us to share in as much of His glory as we can stand here on Earth if we are willing to surrender all.

If you don’t love, respect, honor and have reverence for someone, you WILL NOT be prompted or submissive to listening to them.

You should have a loving honorable posture and reverence for God when you have conversations with God as you do when you come before Him for worship. You are in the presence of ROYALTY. There is NO ONE GREATER. God is the great I AM. He is King of ALL KINGS. There is none greater. For Him to allow us to enter into His presence and have a conversation with Him is of the highest privilege.

Once you receive the right attitude about God, your communication with Him becomes an amazing unexplainable experience that you long for and look forward to.

When you enter into the presence of God and experience Him you will become obsessed with Him. Your heart and mind and soul will want to be in His company at all times. You will want to tell everyone you know about your wonderful amazing Father and friend. You will eagerly long to please Him in everything you do and say. GOD HAS THAT KIND OF INFLUENCE AND IMPRESSION ON US ONCE WE MEET HIM FACE TO FACE. You will be bold to reject and walk away from sinfulness and anything that tries to invade your holy union with the Father.

You will be sensitive to His presence and His voice. This is the kind of relationship God wants from His children and the kind of reverence. love and respect HE DESERVES from His children.

When you are ready to sit and have a conversation with God, check your attitude and heart FIRST because God sees and hears that BEFORE He sees and hears you and your words. Your spiritual condition and attitude will precede your visitation with God.

Before Jesus, the messengers for God had to separate themselves from people and offering sacrifices before they could enter into the presence of God and hear Him speak to them. Today as a born-again Christian, our bodies are the temples, homes and tent of God. We ask forgiveness of our sins, God enters into these flesh and blood bodies to live and talk to us at any time.

If we get out of balance or try to multi task too much of our lives into our private time with God, God may choose not to speak to us until we put everything aside and focus only on Him.

I personally speak to God all day about little things. I know He is right by my side and my partner in my life. But I absolutely still put aside private time with God with no interruptions morning and night. If during my day I hear Him tell me to separate from my surroundings and come talk to Him I DO. I have disciplined myself to recognize His voice and have chosen to respond immediately when I hear Him call my name. I don’t care who I’m with or what I’m doing. If God calls I just excuse myself, as if I just received an emergency call from one of my children. I don’t need to explain myself to people. I just go somewhere even if its to the bathroom and get alone with God to hear what He has to say to me. I try to keep an attitude of submission to God at all times no matter who I am with. What God has to say to me is important to me. If He tells me to change a decision I am about to make, then I change it. I choose to follow God’s wisdom and instruction at all times because I KNOW he loves me, is more wise than me and has my best interest at heart. I trust Him and I let Him lead me as much as I possibly can.

Not only do we talk to God daily for advantages in our own life, God chooses messengers who He knows has learned and disciplined themselves to hear from God. God uses messengers to speak through to give messages or warnings to the unsaved world who CAN NOT hear the voice of God. Unfortunately the unsaved usually rejects Gods messengers and His messages. That does not stop God from trying to reach them and warn them but its often not received well.

In these last days we MUST BE bodies, lives that God can possess and use to share His spirit with everyone we come in contact with. WE CARRY GOD’S SPIRIT from one person to another.

We all need to seek God daily, get His daily plan for us and find out WHERE HE WANTS TO GO. Then we go there and take Him with us. Let God speak to you and plan your day. Plan your life. Give you an assignment and a purpose.

Hearing from God and following God’s daily instructions is vital to your success and safety. Get started right now talking to God. Get familiar with His voice. Discipline yourself to obey and follow God even when you don’t understand WHY. Discipline yourself to stop what your doing immediately when you hear God call you and go do whatever He tells you to as soon as He tells you. NEVER TELL GOD TO WAIT. If God speaks to you He is expecting you to answer at the time He calls.

When I was young, if I was talking to my friends or busy having fun and my parents called me, sometime I would say I’m busy I’ll be there in a minute. Or maybe my Mom would call and tell me to take out the trash, I might would say ok I’ll do it later. Oh Boy, would I get in trouble if I did that. My parents would tell me when I call you you better drop what you’re doing to come to me right then. DO NOT TELL ME TO WAIT. I also remember when my children were small sometime we would be out for a walk and they would break free from me and try to run ahead of me. If I saw them running toward the street or getting too far ahead I would yell at them to stop and wait for me. If they didn’t they got in trouble, and I would reprimand them for not stopping right when I told them too.

These principals of submission to authority is good to learn as a child because it helps us submit to the authority of God when He calls. If we allow our children to dismiss us as their parents, disrespect us and dishonor our authority or the authority of teachers, police officers, pastors even to our elders, it sets a mindset of how we will react to God as well. God is our supreme Lord and Father. He demands our respect honor and submission to His authority. When He calls answer. When He instructs Just do it.

God normally speaks to me in my spirit in bible verses. He corrects me from His written word when I need correction. He reminds me of His promises that are in His written word. Once I learn His voice and discipline myself to respond to His written instructions, I am able to distinguish His voice about other more personal directions and instructions.

Satan likes to try to confuse us and possibly try to copy the voice of God. But when you really KN OW God and recognize His voice, you will not be deceived or tricked by other fake voices or opposing voices that speak to you.

When I am in a crowded situation with many people talking and noisey surroundings, but my spouse or my kids say my name, I recognize it. I am familiar with their voices. It doesn’t matter how much is going on around me or who else may be saying my name, I WILL RECOGNIZE THEM CALLING ME BECAUSE I KNOW THEM INTIMATELY AND PERSONALLY. I am familiar with the sound of their voice.

That is the same with God. After you get completely familiar with His voice, you are going to recognize Him talking to you no matter how much noise is going on all around you.

Remember this, GOD IS VERY PURPOSEFUL AND SPECIFIC. He will never say anything to you that is not important information for your life. You may not understand sometime when He first says it, but you better KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that whatever God says to you is important and you need to heed to everything He says.

Your King James bible is written words of God specifically for you. It is a conversation God is having with you. Get a King James bible, reading it, memorize it and start disciplining yourself to obey everything in it. God is going to judge your life one day soon by your obedience to His word.
